Trendsource emails are out of control!!

I have received over 20 emails a day for the last three weeks from this company for audits. I haven't shopped for them in over a year and have gotten extremely tired of deleting all the junk. I finally went in and changed my email address.

Enough is enough, they should not be sending out this many excessive emails! It is beyond ridiculous.

I got exactly one from them today. Must be an individual scheduler thing. I've never felt spammed by them.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I've considered shutting off their email notifications for a while, but I'm too afraid I'll eventually miss an assignment that I actually want to do (nothing has seemed appealing to me as of yet). I typically get about a dozen a day.
I received 7 of their emails in the last 2 hours, for audits, some of them 40 miles away and only offering $1 PAD.

Not scheduling for ANY company.
I have received multiple daily emails from them as well. I have told them I can't do shops during the week because of my fulltime job. But the emails keep coming. There are several msc that do this. It's annoying, but necessary to sift through them, just in case.
You must not be signed up with GFK. I eventually set all of their emails to go directly to junk.
I can't speak for other schedulers, but my emails are sent once every 24 hours, unless something changes, like a bonus being added, due date being changed, demographics being changed, etc.

Is there some place in Trendsource where you can restrict the mileage for the jobs sent? Most of the ones I receive are more than 40 miles away. No way for $19
They are in my junk folder. I like their sandwich shops but not that much... Not to mention if I want to eat a sandwich tomorrow, I'd want the shop to be assigned by then and it was always took forever to get a shop. It's been almost two years and nothing but sandwiches.. Sometimes on site audits but they are always in places that I couldn't get to once I got off the bus. Meh. Lots of money to be made elsewhere

Sandra Sue, why in the world would you possibly care if other people send their emails to their junk folder????
I have 3 MSC's that all the emails sent to me goes directly to junk.
On the other hand I do check my junk folder every day.

I'm not Sandra Sue, but if other people send their emails to the junk/spam folder, then their emails to me will be more apt to end up in MY spam folder, and that puts me to a lot of trouble, digging them out.
Here's what I've been thinking of doing. Since e-mail address are free, I could set up an auxiliary one, and then use it for the companies who don't particularly impress me with their email system. (Like the one who sends me a separate email, every time there's a shop in California.)

Then I could check it once a week, or whenever I wanted to, and see what I had been missing, and the companies I like would be less apt to get lost in the shuffle of virtual paper.
They do send out a lot. And I think Shoppers View sends me an email for Spanish phone shops once a day.
Re Trendsource, you can set your radius for searches. This would likely be the value they are using for sending messages about Business Inspection and other shop opportunities. You can set this value on the tab called Get Projects -> Request Project.

What I find is that they send individual emails for each business inspection. If the BI opportunities they are sending are too far away, experiment with setting that search value smaller.

Also note that the search value can be set to the radius from your home or the radius from your zip code. Try setting it to the radius around your home if you want only the closer opportunities.

Hope this helps!

In my experience, no this is not what they use. When I search it's a 40 mile radius but I routinely get BV that are well past that. In addition when I log in sometimes the radius has resent to 1 mile.

My inbox is cluttered with the Wings, Phone shops, shops I'm to old for and beds. It takes but a minute to delete the ones that don't apply or I'm not interested in.
I do wish, however, they would use the info we provided in our profile to send job notices we actually are eligible for.
with Trendsource you can always ask for PAD or travel pay, not that you will get it, but you can list what you will do it for.
