Noreply/Sentry Marketing.

I recently signed up for Sentry. I received 11 of the same emails yesterday within a minute of each other. Today I received 15 within minutes, not counting what went to Spam.
Is this their normal? I also think their pay is low for taking pictures, doing the shop and making a purchase out of the payment. I have not shopped for them yet, not sure I want to.

Yes that's how they do it.
I don't shop for them anymore. Way too detailed reports for not enough money.
I haven't had an e-mail from them since Fall of last year. I haven't done any shops for them either but I looked at some of the shops they have in AB.. Too low.

Silver Certified ~ Shopping all of Toronto and beyond
I like Feedback plus but will be deactivating my account with Sentry. They lie when they say their reports are "quick and easy".
Sentry pain in the ass. Plain and simple unlike there reports. I liked feedbackplus before they were bought out.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I have them set to spam. I was just coming in to complain about the same thing. I really need to just go deactivate myself from them.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
I didn't see any jobs that were worth shopping. New company for me. The amount of emails per day are terrible. I deleted myself today. I did ask the scheduler why they couldn't list all of the locations on one email. I got a reply from the scheduler that Profit didn't allow it.
Yup, and today they all say "Emergency" yet they didn't increase the pay rate. No thanks!
I would agree with all of the comments. I have shopped for them and have found that their narratives are very detailed.. nothing quick at all in the level of detail that is duplicative of the questions. Their pay is very low, the shops are limited and after completing three shops, I'm not sure it's worth the effort.

As an example, I recieved a clarification email around a minor issue that I would have no way of explaining. When you have detailed that the site is busy, there were numerous tables waiting for orders, and staff were all actively engaged in providing service it's hard to provide any other explanation as to a delay in the order. If you are not in the kitchen, how would you know? I recieved a second stern email stating the shop was overdue within an hour of the clarification email. I understand the need for a quick turn around but it's not realistic to be stationed at a computer( no edits can be made via any mobile device) for an entire day after a shop. It would be easier to respond if this was not a restriction.

The pay is very low, the reports are repetitive and the narrative is lengthy. I actually joined the site to help out the recruitor but after trying them out with three shops, I think I will not do any additional evaulations for them.
I did one shop for them. The next day I received notice that it was late. I contacted my scheduler and told them I had submitted the report the night before. He looked at their records and said that he could see that I had saved the file several times, but that he could not see that I had submitted it. Since it was my first report on that system, I didn't argue, but told him I would submit it in a few minutes.

When I got oline, I saw that 3/4 of the narrative was gone. Now I know that the reason it showed that I saved the report so many times is because I saved it after each narrative. I called back and was told I would have to reinput the report. I told them that I was not going to spend that much time again and they should probably get someone else to complete the shop because I'd rather pay for my own meal than lose money inputting the report two times.

I haven't shopped them since. I expected to be blackballed, but surprisingly, I still get emails for shops. They will have to pay a lot more than they are offering for me to do that much narrative. I don't expect to make lots of money mystery shopping, but I promised myself I wouldn't lose money on this either!

Hi, and welcome to the Forum. One of the best tips I learned on here is to do your narratives in Word, where you can spell and grammar check, and then copy and paste into the report. Save your Word document, and when things like this happen, it is only a matter of repasting instead of reinventing the wheel.
Thanks Roxie. I did the report in word, but deleted it once I thought I submitted it. Lesson learned!!!

I got an email that offered $1.50 bonus. Woohoo! Let me jump on that.

Received an email for a shop the other day for a different MSC that said we are doubling the bonus to what the shop pays. So instead of making $4.00 you will make $8.

They do offer bonuses if you ask. While it's not much, it makes it more manageable for me to take on their food shops. I do like the restaurants they shop and especially the higher scale restaurants. No complaints for me.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
