Market Force, gotta love em!

Interesting.
What I find more interesting is why you keep posting stuff about Market Force. I don't get it.

Market Force settles all of the complaints filed by shoppers at the BBB. So if for some reason they won't pay you, take your complaint to the BBB-Denver and look for your payment in the mail.

This shopper did nothing wrong, and was deactivated. And had to jump through hoops to get $8. Proof.

While I was moderately interested in the ranking info, it is now approaching a vendetta. Did they deactivate you or invalidate a shop?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Okay, Bill, I get it that you're showing the shopper was deactivated over a juice/bottle of water/senior drink fiasco and the subsequent filing of a complaint with the BBB.

Hey, I'm all for everyone having their day and getting their way, but I'd have to go all Dirty Harry and here's the Q I would ask myself:

Am I willing to give up the future stream of revenue from this leading company because of a dispute over one shop fee/reimbursement, WHICH IS EXACTLY what will happen if I file with the BBB? Not very likely.

And Bill, we get it you're mad at Market Force. We understand you had some kind of problem and y'all couldn't/didn't work it out to your satisfaction. It happens to all of us some time or another with someone or another. You'll feel better if you pick up and move on. I saw that big pay check you posted, and YOWZA I'd be cooking too if I messed around and lost that.

What you're doing to Market Force on this forum is being observed by other mystery shopping companies and taken into account as to how they look at things. I'm not sure you want that, but maybe you're ready to leave this field of work entirely and don't care. Anyway, I know you know this. I guess I'm pointing out the negative possibilities of this kind of attack for the benefit of newcomers to the business who don't realize this kind of behavior affects more than the relationship with one MSC. I know you already understand this but sometimes newcomers need a little encouragement to keep everything on the even up and not let the see saw slam down on one end into a rock pile.

But what's done is done, and certainly after the thrashing you've given them here it's done forever. You can't make it any worse than you've already made it. Sorry it happened but we can't do a thing about it and here's hoping you can put it behind you soon.

I had a problem with a receipt that was printed wrong...i took a pic of my actual order next to the receipt.....but they accepted my explaination....I have gotten odd comments from MF a couple times, but was paid...one was that they insisted they had proved the CS associate at a grocery store had given a closing statement when they hadn't and the other was a 'be sure to follow the guidelines' with no explaination of what they claimed I missed...and it was a store I had done many times without incident..
it would have been very easy to confirm that this location doesn't have a juice button by corporate calling them to verify which I doubt...it could have been a poorly trained employee who was taught the wrong way
What is sad is that companies like MF will not change their ways no matter how many times people post about them. While I'm not complaining about the amount of MF posts lately, just saying from experience that one could complain til Sunday and they will still do all the negative things people say. They will continue not to respect "some" shoppers and offer low pay. They are just one of those companies that have enough juice to continue being in business. It's sad. I'm really sorry for your experiences with them.

once i got a shop initiatlly rejected by MF because they claimed they emailed me and told me to change the date....i never got any email (i do check spam)......and the original date was still listed on the website and cpi when i logged in just before i left to do the shop.....they did reverse themseleves without a complaint to BBB
Good for them. Glad you got it worked out.

For the very first time, MF claimed I made an error. The client was challenging my report. After a few emails back and forth with more information, silence.

I checked my payment history with them this morning. The paid me for the shop. I was stunned because someone emailed me and told me my account would show a shopper error. Well? I was not in error. I'm sure the client checked the video. smiling smiley
