7 months and still not paid. Anyone else had pay problems with Bare International?

No. I have had no such problems. I work for them enough to usually get a payment every month. From personal experience and reputation they are a top-notch company that will correct errors as needed.

If you detailed your problem someone might be able to help.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
Can you give a little more info? Have you contacted anyone at Bare regarding the delay? How many shops do they owe you for?
Bare are a reliable company. I think if you haven't been paid after 7 months you've gotten lost in the system or your shop was rejected. You will need to contact them.
BARE also offer direct deposit. So if a check is continuously getting "lose in the mail", you might opt for this type of payment. Outside of that BARE is one of the quick payers, providing all the directions are followed in the guidelines.

This statement is posted on their website under FAQ section---->"If you are expecting a mailed paper check and do not receive it after waiting sufficient time, please report the lost check to us as soon as possible at payoutinquiry@bareinternational.com and ALWAYS within 90 days of the date you were expecting it. If you believe your check has been lost in the mail, it can be re-issued right away for a $30 stop-payment fee (usually deducted from the reissued check), or you may opt to wait for the check to become invalid (six months) and it will be reissued to you with no fee."

To wait 7 months is ???????. BTW what is BARE response on your Bare Shop log? It generally tells us what we are paid. (Some SASSIE sites also says when the payment is made.)smiling smiley

Ummmmm....7 months any still not paid? WTF ???? Somehow I am somewhat incredulous/skeptical of this posting. For someone who has waited for 7 months to be paid shows there just may be an issue with the individual making such a preposterous claim. Bare International is one of the elite MS companies and pays in accordance with their stated policy. And, nope...I don't work for Bare but have done many assignments for them without any issues either reporting-wise or payment-wise. A posting of this type smacks of some kind of character assassination and/or sour grapes and should be taken with a grain-of-salt.
Anyone who waits 7 months for payment probably won't be successful as an IC. The post smells like rotten fish. Even more so when I noted a disrespectful signature line that the new poster has added so it will appear on all his posts -
"LisaSTL please don't respond to any of my post. Thanks so much!"

jimmyd, insulting and disrespectful behavior toward other forum members is certainly not a good start and will not make forum members want to communicate and help you. Have you posted here before, perhaps under another screen name?

I hope the moderators are around. Your signature line should be either deleted or moderated.
A simple IP trace should out this fool. BARE is currently, usually my biggest check every month. Always over $1000. I'm pretty sure that they pay all valid shops. Yes, 7 months. Funny.

LisaSTL and I don't usually agree, but I like her siggy. Mine would be similar, just replace with whiskey please.
SoCalMama, you'll be the first to know when I change the line. Whiskey seems like it would work just as wellsmiling smiley

Talk about disrespectful! You really know how to make a new member feel welcome by calling me a fool. I have reported you!

You probably won't be the first or the last.

How new could you be if you already know that you don't like LisaSTL?

In 3 mintues, you already have read enough to put this in your signature line, "LisaSTL please don't respond to any of my post. Thanks so much!"

I was born at night, but not last night.

Based on the evidence, I stand by my assessment.

Carry on.
It's the Internet; don't take things so personally.

Have you actually given BARE a call? There's a live person that'll pick up during business hours and they can look up the information you're looking for.

Have either of you tried the Honey Whiskey? I'm not generally a whiskey drinker, but this new flavored whiskey is to die for - oh please, not literally.
Oh ..... and what about cookies with whiskey in them? JamesBond was telling us about Whiskey Cookies that sound to die for. James? Tell us about the cookies.
Cool. Whiskey, cookies, whiskey cookies and recipes. That's the way to turn this into a productive threadsmiling smiley

Well, except for those of us who don't really like whiskey. Can we talk about beer? At least good beer?

Honey whiskey is the industry's way to introduce more women to whiskey drinking.
I've had it before, straight or in blended drinks. It's not the same, but I won't refuse it.

Current favorite whiskey brands: whistle pig, bookers and Canadian club.

Try whiskey or bourbon in ginger ale. It's a perfect well drink for any bar audit. It allows for a premium brand upsell and isn't usually too strong.

I'm a big fan of bulleit rye and ginger.
JB's cookies have whiskey, bacon and chocolate chips in them. We had a nice visit over dinner last Friday and he gave me a fresh batch. I am trying not to eat them for breakfast.

I have not had any problems with payments, which is not to say you did not. I've seen too many posts where someone reports a problem and responses indicate that there should not be any problem. Nonsense. I've encountered quite a few new schedulers and editors in the past few months and some of them are just plain bad.
Jimmyd,

I am sorry to hear you state that you have experienced a delay in payment. We here at BARE want to ensure that all our shoppers are having positive and efficient experiences. I invite you to email myself directly so that we can look into this matter more thoroughly.

I look forward to speaking with you directly and further assisting in you in your issue.

All the best,
