As of Friday, they are overdue in payment. Ordinarily a day or two would not concern me, but given that others are having issues with getting payment from this firm, it does. I have sent a letter and will see what happens this week.

In the meanwhile, I warn others that if you work for this firm, you may have issues getting paid.

Yes, there is a history of problems with this firm, that was updated on another forum on the weekend. Payments (substantial amounts of travel and fees being involved) are months overdue to several shoppers.

I quit working for these folks long before they even started booking video "road trips" so missed my chance to be owed thousands of dollars. There has been high employee turnover in key positions that involve interface with shoppers, and the powers that be seem to have a large dog that eats shopper invoices. Check out this company, both under its name and under various sources of information on video and recorded phone shops for more information.

Dee, have you done shops for them also?

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I did one audio shop for them during the latter part of October.

Dee,
Then please update us concerning payments if they become past due. I think that we need to keep other shoppers aware of the situation. It would be ironic, indeed, if you were paid before those who have been waiting for months. But, you may get lucky.

They are past due. That is why I posted this thread to begin with.

Heard from scheduler immediately. But she told me the date she submitted my invoice, as she is apparently and independent. Did not know that. She gave me a name and phone but have not received a call back. I will pursue this dogedly, as I do every payment owed me, but I am not convinced yet I will ever see this money.

Dee,
That's interesting that they now have an independent scheduler. When I spoke with their brand new (in-house, I think) video scheduler in late October or early November, he was astonished to hear that it was common knowledge that this company owed several shoppers as much as more than $1000 (for some, a lot more). Apparently he had been tasked with recruiting new video shoppers (starting by offering a substandard fee, lol) without being told why their existing roster of shoppers were not interested in more work!

I understand that the company principal has published a book entitled, "Everybody Lies." hmmmmmm

And, btw, until this company started marketing video last year, they really did specialize in phone shops. They still do a few hundred a month, I think.)
