I enjoy shopping for Trendsource. The assignments are fairly easy. The only downside is that the questionnaires require printing several pages. They pay twice a month via direct deposit.
Support is usually prompt and responds to my questions within 24 hours.

I like Trendsource but what they have in my area is only seasonal.

I like the inspections and business verification and the payment for the jobs is pretty good on that side. The mystery shopping to me seams to pay kind of low but they require little to no narrative so if you can four or five in an area you do pretty good or add them to a route for easy quick shops. I like to pick up the business verification's as a end point for routes and have occasionally been able to make my 1st half of a route doing those and the other half gas station shops on the way back. The cost for background check is negligible and I think it was reimbursed but cant really remember.
I have been wondering about the property evaluations. I met the requirements to begin accepting them a while back, but not having any idea what is involved in the report has kept me from accepting any assignments. Fear of the unknown, I suppose; but I also blame it on not being able to make an honest mental evaluation as to whether the pay is appropriate for the assignment and whether or not I have the skills required to give a proper evaluation.
With other types of shops, we can see the documentation before accepting the assignment. These descriptions only provide an overview such as: "4 photographs, an evaluation and documentation of the building condition."
On a side note, I conduct the blue gas station image audits on a very regular basis. I keep telling myself that if I can evaluate the condition of a gas station, I can do the same for a building -- but if anyone would like to shed some light on what these reports are actually like, I would be more confident about jumping in.

For property inspections as in determining the condition of the property, it is taking 4 pictures of each corner of the property. Not 4 pictures in each corner but the four corners of the property. You then make an assessment as to its condition usually based on examples they provide. that particular assignment you are talking about almost sounds like a covert operation which means you wouldn't be interacting with anybody you would just be going there taking pictures and then leaving. I actually have one of those tomorrow and its a little different then previous ones due to the likely hood of it being a private residential property instead of a business. If you can do blue gas stations or any announced gas station you can do these to. 30 minutes tops, typically less, and better starting pay than a gas station.

I like this MSC. My scheduler is easy to work with and the reports are fairly simple. I find their jobs to be pretty low paying, but they will fork over decent bonuses sometimes. I love that they pay twice per month!

I like that you can practically set your clock by their reliable pay schedule.
They pay when they say they will pay. The on-site inspections are pretty straight forward and are the only assignments I will pick up from them. I hope they continue doing what they do, definitely enjoying the positive experience I've had with them so far.

I do the business verifications, and some others as well. There are some which I have seen which require making a sketch of the building from each side and measuring the dimensions of the building with a 100 foot tape measure (which you need to supply). I have not done any of those. I would be interested in learning if anyone has done one of those, and their experience.

I like working for Trendsource - they are very fair and the reports are easy.
TrendSource is a great company to do work for. Their reports are straight forward and fairly easy to complete. And they pay on the 5th and 20th of the month, which is great.
I recall someone posting that they don't understand why TrendSource shoppers are so loyal to TrendSource since the pay seems lower than other MSCs. I think TrendSource is great - you work with them and they will work with you on bonuses (PAD) and rescheduling shops. And I love that they do direct deposit and so quickly. Yes, the pay isn't as great as other MSCs but its quicker than most MSCs. Quick pay and great schedulers makes a big difference.
In my area they mainly have grocery shops. A single grocery shop isn't worth it but if I can do several that are close to each other they start to make sense. If they have several in the same area but on different days, I can often ask them to reschedule to the same day, even for competing stores, so I can do them as a route.

I don't work for them very often. But when they have a bunch of last-minute grocery shops, it's possible to pick up three and make 90 bucks in only a few hours total.
Although the pay is not great, they are honest, provide prompt feedback and the instructions, while some are longer then others, are easy to understand and follow. I find myself working for them more readily as when an issue arrises, and it can, they do everything under the sun to help you. There is no drama, no ego and you can speak freely, which I really appreciate. In a word or two, I highly recommend.

1.) They have a great smartphone app to check in keeping you from having to buy something and get reimbursed for $1.25 at a lot of their shops....only problem is, they keep the extra money. Would be nice if they would split it with the reps.
2.) They are about the only MSC that issues fines for anything that is entered after midnight. I often do not even get home until after midnight as I cover a rural area. There system send out these e-mails informing me I have been fined $1 <sigh>. Once I get it to the attention of a real human, they always remove them but it is a hassle.
I would highly recommend them and they are a great MSC to start out with.

I've seen some of the beef and cheddar shops with another national company, although so far none have been in my area.
TrendSource's mobile app stinks... at least in my area. The only time I've been able to successfully check into a location was the store that's a few hundred yards from my house, and that was when the baby was playing with my tablet and accidentally hit the check in option. Any time I actually want to use it I get the "you're not at the location" message.
Oh, well. I love the warehouse store reimbursements, small as they are. I always buy something I actually need instead of picking up something from the food court.

I will deactivate (fire) them after getting my last payment. The pizza shops are famous and I did many. They have taken over my favorite supermarket I've done successfully for years with another MS, lowered the fee, and play games via phone and email. I did one inspection for them which went well but not worth the pay since it takes longer to do the "one-offs", i.e. find the location, contact the person. I have SO many good MS's that are fair and have reports that make sense. I prefer to find a good MS and then travel to complete the same client in different areas.
I like them- but have one suggestion. Make sure you submit your report as promptly as possible. I am usually super prompt- but once I did a ton of shops- like 10 in one day in addition to my full time job. I forgot to enter the shop the same day but still reported within 24 hours. They docked me $2. That seemed unfair, but it happened. Besides that, I enjoy their shops.
One of my favorite MSC. They only have seasonal work in my area. Too bad, I hope they would get more client in my area.
