I have been signed up with them for a while and never saw anything in my area. A friend in NY indicated a shop that she accepted that sounded like it might be interesting. This has been a few months back and I never heard any feedback so assume that things went ok and she got paid. It is the only reference I have heard to the company and an actual job.

I went to their web site and never saw a place to apply. It looks like the MS division is in Prague?

Ipsos USA has a SASSIE presence. I just logged in and they currently show no shops in the US or Canada. Since I have never seen a shop there I have to assume they are a company that contacts by email with work when available.

Ipsos is an online survey company as well. I have been working with them for the past 6 months... didn't even know they did mystery shopping. Hm, they are a very nice survey company, and have a research testing institute as which I am part of.

Fortunately for me, IPSOS had shops here in early June. I was assigned several, and payment was recently made via PayPal. I have been signed with them for a while and as far as I know this was the first time they had shops here. Good company, nice and professional communication.

I have a couple of good friends who work at the Seattle office of Ipsos. They primarily do surveys and focus groups - they do not have a very big mystery shopping division in the states. But I can say they are a large and well funded company.

I just completed a shop for them last month. It was to check brands of dog food at a shelter. Easy and they paid me today.

Heads up, and be careful. I received the following email from IPSOS:

Dear Shopper:

We have been alerted to a check cashing mystery shop scam being run using the Ipsos name. Please do not accept ANY mystery shop offers that require you to cash checks or send money. The individuals running the scam are using gmail addresses with the ipsos name (example: Name.Ipsos@GMAIL.com). If you have any question about any mystery shop assignment you are offered please contact me directly at dolores.forget@ipsos.com. All Ipsos US job offers are posted on SASSIE and can be verified by visiting www.sassieshop.com/2ipus.

They just sent me an email saying there is a scam using their name with a gmail address, and to stay away from that. Never had a job near me, but guess I'm on their list.
