I'm seeing shops asking for more work, but not much more pay

I did a tire shop for $10. I'm now seeing them asking you to do 2 different tire shops, to compare prices, but no increase in pay. I've seen fast food shops where they only want pictures of the menu board for $5. I now see the same shops asking you to take pictures of menu boards for 3 fast food places for just $8. It seems they want you to drive around, but not much more in pay. I won't do these shops. Too little pay for the driving around.

So many ten dollar shops out there S I T T I N G! I think many of us are changing our strategy for those. If you want $10 shops go for it. You can have mine. One in mind is the box homegoods store.... new company. Plea after plea for those for $8. Sorry no way.
OP, do you EVER have anything positive to post? Every thread you start is negative. Maybe if you had a more positive attitude in life, it would trickle down into your work life. Just sayin'.

I'm very positive, I'm positive you don't like any of my posts. smiling smiley About my post, I'm stating facts about recent shops. It appears others have agreed.
I signed up for a shop where the guidelines stated I needed to call for an auto insurance quote. After I got the shop assigned to me, I learned that I then needed to go online to another insurance company and get a second quote. I felt duped...two for the price of 1. And the pay was only $8.

Yes, you are correct. I don't like posts written by whiny babies.

I strongly suggest you just ignore my posts. smiling smiley

You can always contact the scheduler ahead of time and ask to have the guidelines sent to you ahead of time. Some won't but the majority of them will. Then you can make an informed decision.
Do you need a refresher on the toggle button?

As for the $10 shops gas must be free in your neighborhood?
And I did NOT start this thread..... do you see my post as the first post?
You can have my ten dollar shops.

@CANADAMOMMY, why are you quoting me? I was clearly addressing the OP and you are not the OP. Or are you and the OP the same person?

But it is funny that you associated yourself with a comment regarding negative posts. Actually it is quite hilarious. And you can keep your $10.00 shops. I don't work for $10.00.
You posted right after mine.....
Does it LOOK like I am the OP? No Does it show I am the one you followed? YES>
Maybe you could correct the one you wanted next time or just toggle.....

@CANADAMOMMY, YOU need to learn how to read. The first two letters of my original post say "OP" and then a comma. I am clearly addressing the OP of this thread. Not everyone who posts right after you if posting about you. Get off your high horse. Geesh!
@CANADAMOMMY Jeez, you ALMOST made it a full day without causing problems and getting into arguments. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for you.

geesh isn't a term. It's either jeez or yeesh.

Straight from the Urban Dictionary...

TOP DEFINITION
Geesh
Slang from the 50's or 60's for "Gee, @#$%& Happens" Often used by Catholic boys/girls or those attending private schools. When called on what exactly it meant (by nuns, priests, ministers, WHOEVER), they would explain it as "Gee, STUFF happens".

Since I was not even close to being born yet, I must have picked it up from my past life!
Hmm... I guess if Urban Dictionary says it's a real word...!

Urban Dictionary is so fun!

This thread was doing alright until Sybil2 came in. We were talking about prices of shops and the changes. I've noticed some shops are offering more. I did a tire shop a few weeks ago for $10, they are now paying $20 to go to the same tire store.
I had to ask the scheduler about the tire shops...they want me to drive to 2 different places for a measly 10 bucks? YEAH, RIGHT! Don't get me started on the fast food trifecta audit for $8...
May I ask the purpose of the threads complaining of shop fees? How about just not taking the work?
I started the thread as a statement of fact. This is what's happening. It appears many have had the same experiences. Some shops I use to take, I won't anymore. I'll wait until the pay comes up again. Some cheap shop I'll do, if they are less than 5 miles from my home. People are sharing their opinions here and that's a good thing.
Don't like the subject, simply move on
I, too, get frustrated at all the work we put in for so little pay. Right now, it is all I have, so I have to tolerate the low pay. But things will turn one day, and I won't have to accept the ways it is. I, personally, appreciate the post and a place to vent.
