I have received emails from a scheduler who has bank shops available for Ocean Road Consulting. Does anyone know anything good, bad, or otherwise about Ocean Road Consulting? Thank your in advance for taking the time to respond to this request for information!

We are currently recruiting Customer Service Investigators. This project involves visiting various financial institutions, posing as a customer, to assess the employees' customer service and sales skills. Investigators enter their observations into a website. For the current project, most investigations take approximately 10 minutes. Entering observations into the website takes most people about 7-8 minutes.
Investigators can choose one or more locations, commit to a specific assignment, and are paid $20 per investigation. Investigations may be conducted according to one’s own schedule, as long as the agreed upon deadline is met. The positions may be renewed each quarter. We have immediate openings for Glassboro, Pitman, Sewell, and Williamstown. Specific experience is not required, but we look for people who have good attention to detail and who can work with minimal supervision.

I have performed a few banks shops for Ocean Road and have 2 more scheduled. Reports are typical for a platform visit. I haven't been paid yet, but don't expect any issues. The scheduler works for several reputable MS Companies. The forms and directions are emailed once you've been accepted for the shop. I don't know if there is a separate site for Ocean Road, but I don't think so.

In the absence of negative information, I requested several locations. I like bank shops, and with a platform shop I am only risking my time and driving expenses. I agree that the scheduler schedules for other companies which I recognize as reputable. I haven't heard back yet.

I also scheduled 1 bank shop for Ocean Road Consulting. I know nothing about the company but I trust the scheduler. I am still waiting to be paid. The shop and report were easy.

I just completed my 4th shop for Ocean Road Consulting thru this scheduler. Waiting to be paid. Very quick simple shops. Like another poster stated, the only thing at risk was my time.

I have done several shops for them last month and this month, which I set up through the scheduler, whom I trust. The shops are typical platform and teller bank shops. Haven't been paid for the shops done last month, yet.

I sent a request to sign up with them and am waiting for a reply. I find it odd that there is no link to register on their website.

do they only work in sc?

I received my first check from them on Friday for shops completed in April. Company name was New Heights Consulting Partners but, by process of elimination, I figured it was from Ocean Road. They are located in SC in the same town where my son lives. I'll have to visit them sometime. They have shops in the NE.

Do they shop the West Coast?

Most of their shops in the Burlington, Camden,and Gloucester Counties NJ area are very simple teller/platform/phone/drive thru shops. 99% of the time the employees figure you're a shopper based on 1. Never seeing you before and 2. "I'm looking for information on your checking account". Patricia also usually schedule you to visit multiple branches in the same day so the employees tip off sister branches to be on the lookout and sure enough they will confirm you as a shopper. Personally I think this company is a low quality mystery shop program....but a quick way to earn $20 a pop.

I hate that too, but I was able to find a link to register on their website; It's under the "About Us" section near the bottom of the page.
