Mintel

Hello. Perhaps I can get help with this question.
I am sending copies of bills I receive online to Mintel. I cannot for the life of me figure out how I am supposed to get paid.
They ask for you to fill out an invoice. Am I supposed to fill in the amount they are supposed to pay me? Shouldn't they do that? There is a place for a receipt. Should I just put another copy of the bill I got as a receipt?

You fill in the amount you're supposed to get paid. No receipt is necessary.

I'm doing a project for them too. I asked the scheduler as I didn't get it and still don't quite get it. She did the first one for me. I was confused as it was not an 'expense'.
Yes you fill it out under the 'expense' tab. It's the third box down, I think it says 'shopper fee'
Yes, just put in the amount, and in the reason box I just put "shopper fee."

But it's tricky to find the silly thing. I just submitted a report yesterday. I clicked the button to finalize and submit invoice but it doesn't take you to the invoice page. I had to go back to my home page, find the job and then I could find the link to do the invoice.

But they are really great when there is a problem. Just email them and tell them "I can't figure out how to do the invoice" and they will help you. They are very communicative, I've never had a message be un-answered for more than a day, if even that long.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I agree on both counts.

It took me a while to remember and then find the "Bills, Bills, Bills" link.

The Mintel contact responds to email queries within 24 hours.

The website isn't the easiest to figure out, but the jobs are easy and they do communicate very quickly. If only they had more shops besides 'Bills Bills Bills'
up time submit my bill thanks for the reminder. Mintel one of my favorites this year.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

A while back they sent out a newsletter with a link to a presentation on how to submit an invoice. I was so thankful for that. It was pure luck every time I had managed to submit one, and then I couldn't remember the steps I had taken. PM me with an address, and I will forward the email.

They usually send out the "Bills Bills Bills" email on the first of the month. I have not received mine yet. My cable bill is not available until the 12th though.

I'm trying to think why I didn't sign up with them. Seems like I did a bunch of it. Do they require a photo or DL upload? I don't tend to ever upload those to companies. Too cautious, I guess.
They need a copy of your cable bill. I can download mine from my cable company's web site, and then I upload it to Mintel.
I really like this company, They do respond quickly and are very helpful if you have a question. They are always helpful and friendly.

Guess what? I did sign up with them, but I guess I didn't give them my SSN. I could have sworn they wanted something more than I wanted to give, but apparently I'm there. lol No shops near me, though, but I did find what y'all were talking about with the bill. I did the little survey so we'll see if they want mine too!
When you have the opportunity for some assignments with them, go for it. They really are great to work with and pay starts at reasonable and goes to quite generous for the work expected.

We'll see what happens. I know business can come and go in some areas. We'll have to see if anything turns up in my neck of the woods.
I'm doing their mail survey now. It started in late July. Takes no more than 5 minutes of my time per day. I don't have to drive anywhere or call anyone, just answer 3 questions about the type of mail I receive. Very nice $$ on this one.

I couldn't agree more. They are the best MSC I've found. I love it that I'm getting paid simply to send them some of my bills (which I figure they are helping me pay), and the formula project is another piece of cake. When you work on location, they pay very well compared to most MSCs, and their reports are very reasonable.

The guidelines say to submit a survey each day, even if no mail is received. Do you know if we're expected to submit a survey on Sundays? The compensation is $2/day for a total of ~$60/month, so I'm assuming we do submit on Sundays. Just curious how others are interpreting this.
anyone got the bills bills bills for aug yet?

@BuffaloNY101: Isn't it on your "Home Page", ready to go?

Yes, I did. My cable is at the end of the month, so it just sits there until the 28th of each month. Some of you must get your statements early in the month.
