Marijuana Users

For those of you who use marijuana and would like to mystery shop you should sign up with

420 Intel Agency

I started to sign up just to see what kind of shops they have but I am not familiar with either the use or the purchase of marijuana.

Wow. That is absolutely hilarious. I wanna sign up for them but I detest marijuana.

There are reasons that a body stays in motion
At the moment only demons come to mind
For those that are seriously thinking about shopping this industry. I sent an inquiry (from their online inquiry link) and i got a very quick response. --- However, Gmail, says Email may not be coming from the company email address itself.

At the moment, apparently they are only rolling out shops in the 4 states that have legal Recreational and Medical structures around cannabis. --- No license required. However, in the coming months they are planning on serving states that have medical only laws --- For these types of shops a state issued medical marijuana license would be required as that is the only way your can enter their establishments. I was also informed that they have had a few Canadian requests, and are hoping to become an International Mystery Shopping Company in the future.

Don't think I will be signing up. I was not planning on doing so. I was just interested in whether this was a legit Mystery Shopping Company of not. --- I know some people that would be very interested if it is. If anyone signs with them, and works with them. I would be interested in learning about your experiences. (This could be in PM if you prefer.)

I'll be the brave one. I signed up with them - probably one of the "few Canadians requests". My husband has a prescription so these shops should be great! If chosen, I'll be sure to let you all know how it went smiling smiley
oh my, I never would have expected this to exist, but makes sense since it is a fairly new industry. What states are they in? I didn't see it on their site.
They are concentrating on where it is currently legal - Colorado, Washington State and Washington DC. They are hoping to expand into Canada shortly.

Maybe they should by the name "Grassroots" for their company.

Pun intended? I got a laugh out of that. winking smiley

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
As a resident (but non-user) of Washington State, we started out legalizing medical and now added recreational. This has put the medical into yet another revision. This is all over taxes collected by the state. The businesses are individually owned at this point and I would think that just meeting state laws (not to mention federal laws making them illegal) would be of major concern. Why would they care about customer service?

I have signed up with this MSC but not heard anything from them.

I know someone who has a medical card and lives in CO. The competition is so fierce, and the number of dispensaries outnumber Starbucks where he lives.

I could see where a shopping program would be needed for an owner with a larger grow operation with 5-6 store fronts. He can't be at all his shops at once. You have to admit, the employees are likely chronic users and that can lead to possible NO answers to the standard questions we fill out on any normal customer service shop.
Thanks Scanman1. I don't think we have reached that level yet in WA. Maybe they have in the city but it is SO controlled. Employers can test for drugs and not hire those using...which is an interesting situation at a green store.
I wish New York's recent Medical Marijuana law wasn't so damned restrictive. They are not going to allow the sale of flowers for smoking. Only oils, extracts, and edibles for vaporizing or consumption. This is hilarious to me considering that it's much harder to control your dosage of cannabis with how strong extracts, oils, and edibles can be. When smoking it's easy to tell when you have had enough. You have instant feedback. With edibles and extracts, you may not feel the effects for up to an hour. This could lead folks to taking much more than they need. I don't know if any of you have ever eaten to many pot brownies, but being that level of high is no fun. haha
If you detest weed, then why would you want to be a MS dispensary shopper.

I feel the same way about McDonalds and won't do shops involving them.
I think some people might love to combine two of their favorite things- mystery shopping and cannabis!
Here in Cali, they might be checking whether the dispensary insists on seeing your recommendation card. If not, they are not complying with the law.

I saw it. TheMSC listed address nearby to me. I don't plan on participating. My bank closed a branch. Building now a marajuana store. Unbelievable. Same for an old nearby McD
The ISecretShop portal has this company as one of the contributors to it's job board.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
My husband got a card in CA. In CA they would not sell to him because he has a NV DL. In NV, now legal, he was able to get some from a company that delivers, after they checked out his license. We are still waining for the dispensaries. Who knoews, this might be the push to get him shopping! smiling smiley We have a client that makes edible popcorn that is sold in CA, and maybe WA and/or CO. We haven't spoken to him in several months. But, he has given us a sample of the popcorn. Being a non-user myself, I was concerned about the taste. I did not taste it. Our late Lab snuck a taster bag. We realized it when husband could not find the bag. It was a few hours later that I found the empty bag. The dog was listless for about 24 hours until it left his system. My husband is a lot more careful now when the client gives us popcorn!
420 Intel Agency is indeed a legitimate MSP. Waiting for those WA shops to come on board. I think they just did CO in the beginning.
I have been in communication with 420 Intel Agency. When they go online in CA, my husband and I will sign up. I will report back. Oh, I think DC is also a state where it is legal and they will be shopping.
