They only had one client in my area, and that has been dried up since the fall.

It appears they changed their process for listing shops. It looks like they are not listing them a few weeks out instead of everything for the month.

I'm not so sure that it is a change in their listing system. Often, the client is late releasing the shops to the MSC, which then lists them in the middle of the month, or even quite late. This seems especially likely to happen in the first month of a calendar quarter, since places that are being shopped on a quarterly basis seem to be especially prone to late release in that first month. From the schedulers' point of view, I am sure that they would like releases to be as early as possible, to help them get to or near goal ASAP.

Central PA

It may be that some posters have not yet done enough shops with ACL to see more events on their events list. I see losts of Central VA shops.

I have two (name of restaurant0 shops next week. Am meeting a fellow shopper fom south of Phoenix at one on Monday. Would you like to come on Thursday for the other one? It's in Avondale.

They always have a shop for the movies in our area. Northwestern Arizona in Kingman, AZ

Nope! Not in Houston, TX. My husband talked to a scheduler at Closer look yesterday and picked up two restaurant shops.

The good ones go fast where I live.

They dropped yesterday and if you can't make up your mind very quickly, someone else will do it for you.

There is no time to read the shop and go to the customers website and start doing menu math. By then it's gone.

You need to review the taken shops the month before and decide if its a good fit, so your ready to pounce when it comes up the next month.

I just took out a lead shop for a potential new client of theirs and was offered another for a different new client, so they are definitely expanding in this area.

Love the [restaurant name removed] shops. Unfortunately, you can only shop there once every six months.

Gaining some, losing some in North Texas.

They are gaining clients in Southern California. Many of them are chains with many locations and are not as upscale as some of their former clients. If you go on their site and search for shops in a different state you will see what is available and if those particular clients have outlets in your area they may be coming to you one of these days too. I looked through a few states the other days as the California shops did not post until a few days into the posting period. Florida seemed to have a lot of shops as did most states that have a large metropolitan area within them.
I know one of the upscale fast food places that have many, many shops here just opened one location in a southern state and are starting to expand to the northeast as well.

I just checked June shops in my area and they have added high end jewelry stores that I have never before seen shopped.

I have not seen a drop-off in the mid-Atlantic area at all. They are one of my favorite companies. Keep in mind that shoppers with more experience and strong shop report ratings get a longer list of shop opportunities. My list grew longer after I performed more shops for them. As someone else mentioned, some shops get snapped up quickly.

I'm married to bxianesq and we are both registered on A-Closer-Look. Bxian is a much better mystery shopper and has stronger writing skills than I do. She shows 88 shops on her profile and I show 11. My profile could be different but most likely its because she turns in better reports than I do.

I get about two posted per month around here and yes they go very quickly. I was sitting thinking about one for a couple minutes, little further range and when I clicked it was gone lol my youngest got a laugh out of that but they had another smaller shop that I got. These seem to be self assign so far.

There's a huge slowdown in the number of shops in my area. It's possible there are shops I can't see. Although that's hard to imagine since I do see all the really high ends shops.

Now that is really interesting!

I'm on the east coast. I see 120 shops in MA. Is that what you see? I still feel that's less than before.
