Intellishop will give you the widest range of shops and pay. Bestmark can be cheap unless you do the exit interviews, the pay $59 to $75, epmsonline is apartment they pay $35 and they are my bread and butter.Beyond hello pays well with the shopping mall shops.
Be very careful with Cirrus. I did a lone shop for them back in October of last year. I figured the pay structure would be similar to other mystery shopping companies that pay you the month following the month you performed the shop. I waited patiently for 2 months and then I was concerned so I read their site in depth and was shocked to find out they do not pay until 4 months after you completed the shop! After February passed I still had not received payment so I began contacting them by email and phone. The people I dealt with were cordial and professional but I felt like I was getting the runaround as I had to call several times and begin to get a bit "pushy" before I finally received payment which was the end of February. They gave me some excuses that they had experienced some system difficulties and a large database of their shoppers had been lost and they didn't back up the files. They said this was the reason for the payment delay. Anyway, due to this they lost a lot of credibility in my eyes and coupled with the fact that they already take so long to pay I will not shop for them again.
I must live in the wrong area for mystery shopping. I'm not willing to travel more than 20 miles and it limits my shops. Also, the shops within my area don't pay well unless they include a bonus. Does anyone know of a great MSC with good paying shops on the west side of Cleveland?
I agree with all above comments about GFK and Trendsource. I also like Marketforce. They pay precisely by the 10th or before, for all the shops done the previous month. THEN, they neatly list the entire detail of that payment on their website and show each reimbursement and shopper fee. I love that. It's easy to check off if a number of shops have been done for them, and so far in 2 years I have seen no errors.
When I first started it was difficult to wait for the payments to start rolling in. Some payments came in two weeks and some after three months. After doing this for many months, I now usually have a couple payments each week with more during the end/beginning and middle of the month. Waiting for payments really does get easier. smiling smiley

That's it exactly once you get started doing them It does really matter how fast an individual company pays something is always coming as long as you do not slack off and say I'm tired of this I will take a break. Especially if you also have what's considered a normal job: You know have your taxes taken out for you. Ones I like best are the Bank sales shop and the reg Z shops. Car shops are OK, but they have to be bonused before I want to do them. Speaking f car shops I have to turn in no. Have a car shop in the morning before 11AM, then an appliance shop, couple of burger shops and a Hardware shop. Night all

Instant Replays. They pay lightning quick.

On the other hand, for a number of us, Mark doesn't pay at all, so use caution with IR.

Would you be willing to give out the website addy for Taylor and a couple of more of the names. I am just looking at getting serious and working at this.
Thank you all for taking the time to share here. Thank you all.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
I wish I could do more Best Mark shops, but they are mostly oil changes and tire rotations. I have a foreign car so I'm out of luck. They do offer auto dealer shops, but there is no way I would do one for $14 - $17.00.
Aside from Beyond Hello (who deactivated me in my first month of mystery shopping back in 2006) who else does mall shops?
