I think I might finally pass level 2 tonight but then I started to think about the jobs. For those of you who have done the restaurants and hotels for this msc, are they all the same deal as with the air and bus fares where they reimburse half? If so, what would be the advantage of taking one of their hotel shops (or restaurants) over any other company that reimburses all of your meal if you select carefully from the menu or your entire hotel bill. The only reason I can come up with is that their reports are far easier. Please tell me I am not knocking myself out on these steps to get half my bill paid and a long narrative filled report.
Some of the restaurant jobs only reimburse half. I took a few of those to get my foot in the door and because my husband really likes a particular chain. Another chain reimbursed enough that you could mostly eat what you wanted and spend little to no extra with a bit of careful ordering. A third I will categorize as a cafe--sandwiches, etc., but better than fast food. Those reimbursed the full meal and paid a fee of $15 too. Finally, there was a fast food chain. It paid $8 and full reimbursement. Another aspect of that one was a promotion of sorts. You had to buy a "card", which actually was on your phone and load it with $15. They paid the full $15 even if your meal was less. I spent around $10 or $11 on the two that I did, so now I have some credit left on my card for another visit on my own.
Some of the other restaurants only reimburse to a certain point AND require a minimum expenditure. I decided not to do those.
I have not applied for any of the hotels. So far, they are reimbursement only and it hasn't worked out that I needed one in the areas available.
I have also done a garden centre job for them that paid $10 and reimbursed up to $10 for a plant. They have some other jobs that pay a fee, such as visiting a local community service organization for $20. Haven't gotten one of those yet.
Hope this helps!
