iSecretShop app Fixes that I wish programmer would do soon.

I've been checking out apps lately. I'm frustrated by iSecretShop's app. At first it looked promising but it lacks a basic and very vital feature: Guideline link. Shoppers need to see guidelines before accepting an assignment! And the short brief barely describes it. No hot links to MSC and the http they provide is many times invalid.

Plus, is anyone else having problems using accept/view button? Everytime it just takes me to the ICA, I agree (plus I am already signed with individual MSCs) but it still doesn't do jack when you do decide to click ACCEPT. I have switched out & gone to the MSC site, but some of those like Prophet4 have no job board & search pulls up no such listing. Even tried search outside of my area. I am looking now to see if I have any emails from those MSCs to email a real live Scheduler. What an enormous run around! I just want job...quick in, click links, read guidelines, decide whether to accept, boom either self-assign (ideal) or hear back within a couple hours. Is that too much to ask?

I have contacted ISS to no avail.I see no live Scheduler contact number. I see MSC numbers which I will call, but I am in a different time zone. Also the app doesn't even allow for copy/paste or any capture as in hold down phone number dialing. So now I must write down or memorize number to dial manually. I guess I must take time to call each individual MSC to discuss each job offer listed. Please don't take this personally ISS...just please fix it!

I like the idea of a collective job board for MSCs other than SASSIE platform users. I love SASSIE, it gives Shoppers nearly everything at our fingertips!

But do these MSC realize how limited the ISS job board is? Maybe it is my smartphone brand...but it is top of the line Android Samsung Note. If it is a mobile application, act like one, be designed for click through action. I wonder how much these MSCs pay for their service? They may be thinking they are getting another great recruitment tool, but they need to try using the app from a User perspective. If I do not get a reply soon, I will be uninstalling.

Does this work as intended on anyone else's phone? What good is it to see a shop listing but never being able to apply or self-assign? And what Shopper worth their salt is going to click ACCEPT without first reading the full guidelines to be sure they are qualified or want to jump through those hoops?

I used the regular website from the iPad for writing reports. I found the app good for looking up shops.
It is not integrative...they need to fish or cut bait! Grow huevos & build a real app. Got to have guidelines hotlink. Programmers need to get access to SASSIE Shopper portal & see how great the hot links are. Then pattern something that works without plagiarizing. But blue url hot links are vital. If I was an MSC, that is the least that I would need to have a decent design. They need to test their product before releasing the app.

At worst one must take a pen write down the url and phone/email then open new window, type info to go to MSC. The iSS app doesn't permit copy/paste and no hot url links. It is redundant as it ask you to sign ICA over & over even though the Shopper has to be pre-signed which was done on the PC in order to even be seeing a job post...so why ask for ICA to be signed again & again?...and basically the view button is useless as you see nothing more than the job brief. No link to the guidelines! I have been signed with these firms for years...show the guidelines! At best it is just a weak job board...but it has potential.

After all the hoop jumping just to type to find the guidelines...the job is gone or just not there inside the MSC's website. Unfortunately, when one goes to certain platforms like Prophet it won't be there unless Scheduler tinkles keys.

What a colossal waste of time, if no updates occur soon I will be deleting iSecret Shop app as it is just taking up valuable space. I can go to their iSS Internet site or better yet use other apps & job boards that understand click through features. Apps are supposed to be efficient, right now iSS is creating more steps and hindering the ability to route jobs swiftly.

Contrary to the OP, it has been my experience that most MSCs do give those registered with them guidelines upfront before accepting the assignment. If this is just an early release alpha or beta version of iSS then I suggest the programmers do some proofreading and read reviews. To me a project is highly suspect if the MSC doesn't allow a Shopper to know the guidelines, especially when the Shopper has a track record. How many of us have taken the chance, accepted the shop without the full guidelines only to kick ourselves? We end up despising the project, doing it so as not to be a flake...we should have full disclosure since our reputations are on the line! Otherwise, let's put these things on our 10 foot pole list.

I know of very few companies where you can see the guidelines on the website before applying for/accepting a job. In fact, there are many I have asked to see guidelines before applying for a shop, and they have told me that I will see them when the shop is assigned. So that is not unique to programming issues at iSecretShop. You are right. We should be able to see them.
