SecretShopper.com

SecretShopper.com is unprofessional. This company has knocked me off on reports for client errors. For example, although I shopped from 6:29 PM to 6:49 PM, the editors claimed that I lied on the time of my visit because the receipt reflected a time of 12:21 PM. In actuality, the time discrepancy was due to the fact that the time stamp on the receipt is wrong. Unfortunately for me, the editor automatically assumed that I was lying, and then disqualified my report, which means I did not get paid. SecretShopper.com does not respect their shoppers. They are a poorly run organization that pays shoppers very little (usually we have to pay out of pocket). Professional evaluaters do not deserve that kind of disrespect.

Did you give the MSC a heads up that the receipt was wrong?

Why would you accept a job where you lose money?
Are you a Professional evaluator? Perhaps you should sign up for more companies from the Official list at the bottom of this page. 85% of the MSC "usually have us pay out of the pocket", first.

Yes, I am signed up with over 200 companies. OP said they pay little and added the parenthetical remark about paying out of pocket, and I did not see what low pay and doing reimbursement shops would have to do with each other. Why would OP blame them because she took a reimbursement shop? So, I assumed OP meant her net profit was zero.
Roxie, I think sojo was speaking to the OP rather than you. It is clear from your posts that you are a professional evaluator. sojo is also a professional.

Much of the OP's post is not clear. She apparently turned in a receipt which had a time that did not match the time in her report. It sounds as though she did not explain the time difference in her report and the company disallowed her shop. She blames the MSC for this lack of payment and a number of other issues, including that she is unhappy that she chose to accept low-paying shops.

Sometimes pointing fingers and making it all someone else's fault makes people feel better.
I always notify the MSC if the time on the receipt is incorrect either in my report or by emailing the company if no narrative in required. It doesn't hurt to cover oneself.

The MSC probably assumed she picked a receipt up off the ground or out of the garbage can outside the business.

If you don't document receipt time and date errors when you submit the report the first time, they tend to not believe you after it is questioned after the fact as this is something you should have caught and reported.
