Had enough of MarketForce

And before anyone jumps in with "Well you don't really work for them blahh blahh blahh" I'm fully aware of our status as peons and I'm venting. But Markforce is staright up staffed by liars who I'm pretyt sure get a kick out of screwing over the people who make the money, so screw them. Tired of having stuff from two years ago and problem I self-reported and corrected held over me anyway. If I wanted a bad financial relationship I'd get married. At least there's actual legal recourse when someone screws you over.

Ummm...do you really think that these kinds of generalities (without a modicum of specifics) along with the typos/grammatical faux pas and lack of context will garner any sympathy or constructive comment other than referrals and suggestions that some kind of anger management very-well might/should be in order?

Just sayin'
Sorry you had a bad experience. Luckily you can just walk away and work for anyone you do enjoy working for.
Yeah, that's about what I thought I'd get. Thanks for nothing folks. And I did say I was venting. If you can't vent here, then were can you vent? Sorta the point of this place, right? Not sticking up for the bastards who screw up over with a smile.
I really don't think the purpose of this forum is to accomodate venting. Particularly immature ranting in bad taste. This is a business and the MSC's are our partners and if you have had a bad experience correct the situation and move on. Did you really expect anyone to agree with you weatherman or give you sympaty or empathy? What exactly did you expect?
If you want to explain and get the thoughts and ideas of others, that's the point of this place. With some valid details, you might find some understanding and sympathy. If you just want to throw a temper tantrum, there are better places.
Perhaps they are. I'm not hiding anything. Market Force screwed me over, lied to me and canceled my account. Apparently they don't want good shoppers, they just want meat to grind up quickly and toss out. Their loss.

And yeah, a little sympathy might have been nice. God knows how many other folks here they've screwed over.
What happened? (Asking because I am gluttonous and just self assigned myself more gasoline than I can possibly burn.)

ETA: Funniest thread title of the night.

Market Force is an excellent companysmiling smiley I have performed over 1,500 shops for them and never had one declined. A few QC questions about certain shops, but other than that, I have been paid for every assignment. I am not familiar with what you are talking about weatherman.

They also pay like clockwork, directly into my bank account, every month without any problems.

What specifically did you do to warrant them deactivating you? (assuming they deactivated you or did you close your account?)
Sorry things didn't work out for you with this MSC. I personally like them and like doing several of their shops. They have seemed fair and reasonable to me. I haven't always agreed with every decision they've made, but that's just a part of life. I really like their scheduling as it is very easy and quick, unlike some companies where your apps sit out there forever without being accepted or declined. They also pay like clock-work.

Without any specifics for us to help you with, it's hard to really comment on your situation. Best of luck to you with other MSC's, there are lots of them out there...

Yeah, here's the thing. I've been working with Market Force for almost 10 years. I don't know who you might be. If you come in here and rant about how terrible they are and how they screwed you in a way that doesn't match my experience at all, that doesn't give you any credibility with me whatsoever.

Sometimes the problem is you.
I think your comment is very unprofessional. I cannot take you seriously. Market Force is a very good company to work for. You follow the guidelines, you get paid. It's that simple. They do not screw shoppers. You have screwed yourself.

Just one more thought. I don't consider myself a peon, I consider myself a business partner. Perhaps that is part of your problem weatherman.
I suggest you provide specifics on how MF lied and screwed you over. This is the only way for this post to have any credibility.

Troll: Definition
4. To post inflammatory or irrelevant material on (an electronic forum) to provoke responses.
What is the definition of an online stalker, vince?

Might it be a forum member who searches out the posts of another forum member who disagreed with him on another thread and made him angry, so he follows him around name-calling?

Your behavior is offensive. Exercise some control.
Wow, go away for a week and look at all the fun I missed. It seems like the forum troll with many personalities is rearing his ugly head again. And it will only get worse since the kids are out of school with too much time on their hands.

AustinMom, get ready for vince to follow you around like he is doing me (but, no harm no foul). I'm kinda/sorta thinking that he doesn't have anything else going on except to post generalities about MSCs and how they have done him wrong and not taking responsibility for his shops going wrong, not being accepted thus not being paid.
I'm new here and to working with multiple MSC. MarketForce has been solid to me the last few months. I did have one shop declined, but like life if you act reasonably you will get reasonable treatment. I accepted the bad shop as a learning experience and they have been awesome working with me.
Customer_Servicce_Police I have had to accept my share of "learning experiences" too. In fact, tomorrow I am putting 100 km on my vehicle to go take a picture I forgot. bleah! I am just glad they are permitting me to correct my mistake.

I had my phone up to take the picture when it rang. I answered it, then drove away forgetting the photo. I blame my husband for the mistake since he was the caller. grinning smiley
Same thing happened to me. I answered the phone while taking pictures and did not realize I was missing one picture until doing the report. ARRAGH - 70 miles to get a picture. I never answer the phone anymore while taking piks - another learning lesson that was quite expensive.
In general, you are not supposed to answer/talk on the phone during a mystery shop and taking required photos is still in the midst of performing the shop. It is a hard but good lesson to learn.

That is what airplane mode is for. Learned that the hard way because my stepson calls all the time for really silly questions. Like what is a sally port? I told him it's what you go through to get in out of the jail if your a cop with a prisoner. Or like when you go to a secure mental hospital.

Soooooo --- why was he asking about the sally port? This thread finally got interesting. tongue sticking out smiley

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Well I can garuntee you that's not me. I've been here for quite a while under this name. Nice to know only shiny happy people are allowed here.

I always did, I always acted well beyond reasonably with them. My sucess rate was close to 98%, and the few "errors" in the last 2 years were all thing I remembered afterwards, notified them about and fixed. There was a grand total of one totally unusuable shop due to a mix-up in locations. They're just an awful company that apparently hates their best shoppers.
I have done a lot of Market Force shops. The only one I ever missed being paid for was one where I simply misread the guidelines and didn't order the right thing. Too bad for me, but I learned to read carefully. Sorry you have had problems. Just take a breath and go shop for someone else.
