I just got an email from Consumer Connection - they have changed ownership and Catherine is GONE!!!!!

May 27, I received this is the message from the new owners of Consumer Connection Monitoring Inc. of Surrey, BC:

Hello Shoppers,

I hope you are all doing well!

My name is Jan Khan and I was previously the Account Manager and Editing and Scheduling Manager with Consumer Connection Monitoring Inc.

I have been brought back on board as the Director of Operations and I would like to provide you with a few company updates.

There has been a recent change in management and we now have two new owners: Rahim Dadani (President) and Jessie Dusangh (Vice President). Both come with years of valuable business experience and expertise.

With the change in management we now have many new resources available to us and there will be many improvements made over the course of the next few months.

thousands of shoppers who love this area of work will want to know is : (a)
is Catherine Ann still in any way affiliated with the company and (b) what
is you payment policy going to be? Tens of thousands of us share our
expertise, stories, and bad experiences on a Mystery Shoppers blog/website
and I can tell you that hundreds of hours have been spent by hundreds of
people throughout the US and Canada sharing horror stories and mutually
hating Consumer Connection and Catherine Ann.

Cathrine Ann has stepped down and is no longer affiliated with Consumer Connection.

Shoppers will be paid at the end of the following month in which work is completed.

I was wondering if that was just an excuse for paying late. I know this company has a very bad reputation for not paying as promised. I thought I got the email as an explanation for my late payment for a shop I completed in March. Thanks for sharing this. I will still be hesitate to shop for them when my own money is on the line, unless I am going there anyway, as I was in March.

I got paid finally on the 25th of May.

I got that email too.. Wondering if this means there will be improvements when it comes to receivinf pay on time. If there is anyone that shops for them and is expecting pay next month, update us.

That's great you asked about Catherine. I read the e-mail and kind of assumed more partners had joined. Sadly for me, it looks like they may be dropping the main client I do for them.

This month I was paid late. I've been getting paid regularly for months though.

Hello, @Kate in Edmonton is correct. The previous owners of Consumer Connection have stepped down and are no longer involved in any aspect of the company.

As of May, we now have two new owners who have over 20 years of successful business experience running various companies and organizations. With the new ownership you can expect to always be paid on time, every time. The new owners are financially stable and come with many new resources to help improve and grow the company. We are currently working to ensure that all Shoppers who have not been paid in the past are paid up to date. We apologize for any delays you may have experienced during this transition period.

Ouch. Considering the late payments happened during your reign Catann, I would not be bashing others for doing the same thing you did for years. Anyhow, if you're out of the business, why do you still care? Let it go.
