Bare - Basics Quiz

Was anyone else forced to take the Bare Basics quiz....? I've been shopping with them since 2011 and took both the Advanced quizzes and the video shopper quiz long ago and passed both - and have done MANY shops for them. I was forced to take the basics quiz before I could even apply for any more shops...mind you this was not there last week and I did shops for them just fine a week ago.

You would think after passing both other quizzes and having a perfect rating with them this time suck would not have been necessary....UGH....so stupid

Yes. I thought it was a very good test and would really benefit a brand-new evaluator. Requiring long-time evaluators who have performed multiple successful shops seems pretty ineffective.

I also thought finalization of the test and entry of the code was unclear and clumsy.

You are right, myst. ShopperShel probably missed the other thread because it is mystery shopping discussion rather than company discussion. Maybe the moderator can move the other thread to company discussion and combine the two threads.

I went ahead and took it. You get graded immediatley and I passed, but there is a code that has to be reviewed and that takes a few days. Bizarre. So I am still getting the message, and am still able to see and request and assign shops.

Yes, today I was forced to pass it when I tried to self-assign a shop for which I was otherwise qualified. I passed it, entered the code and am waiting for it to be graded before I can take more shops.

I remember being asked to do so more than a year ago and blew it off.

Yes, I agree it is helpful for a beginner. However, for this seasoned shopper it seems overkill.

If you want to ask someone I suggest Dale or Micheal Bare. Do you want the number to the main office?
