Market Force possibly listens to shopper feedback and raises reimbursement from $11 to $12 on "Fast Casual" shop.

After I did a shop at a location for this client that is located in a tourist mall food court, I saw that the cost of my burger, small fries and reg. drink was $2 over the $11 reimbursement.

I was already in a foul mood as I drove around for almost 30 minutes looking for a parking space. I mean ANY parking space. I then walked for two blocks in the hot sun to the mall and another block to the food court. Then the Florida weather changed while I was eating and I got rained on and fully soaked on the way back to my car. I was not in a good mood and have never shopped that location again.

Schedulers would call me and ask me to shop that location and I brought up the food cost as part of my objection and was told to send an email to the help desk and advise them. So I reluctantly sent off a short polite email to the help desk advising them of the fact that the prices were higher than reimbursement. I received the following reply:

Please keep in mind however, that not every shop will cover the entire cost of the purchases; the reimbursement is akin to a discount for the food that you are receiving.

It's possible that I may have helped get this shop reimbursement fee raised.
Then again, they already knew this as they look at every metric and my email had nothing to do with it.

I want the reimbursement raised for the fast food place where the reimbursement only covers a hotdog meal...
me2. If the shop fee were higher that shop would make more sense. With a low shop fee plus a low reimbursement it's not worthwhile for me although I can understand if others want to do it. If someone wants a hot dog meal, that's a better deal than no deal at all.

This has to be at the Premium Outlets in Orlando. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to park there unless you are there at opening.

I noticed that MF raised the reimbursement a buck on one of the burger shops I do. My bill always comes to 11.74 due to tax.

Shoot for the breakfast shops! All options are covered within the reimbursement limit smiling smiley

If it's a drive-thru shop, I'm actually OK going over the reimbursement limit to grab a burger.

That's why I usually only do bonus lunch/dinner shops. Then I can splurge on cheese sticks or shakes and make out okay. I don't feel like picking off onions on a burger too often, so I'm okay with coneys. I hated the chicken items getting dropped off the approved items way back when.

Breakfast, OTOH, I get an ultimate burrito no matter what.
For the longest time my total cost for a little cheeseburger+little fries+fountain drink was $10.93. It jumped to $11.99 in June (everybody's state/local taxes are different). I didn't see any lag time between that price increase and when the MSC raised the reimbursement.
I never cared for their food. I removed myself from the client. It was not worth it for me.

I don't even shop there on my time off. Their food is just not for me I guess. But I know many people like it. That's why the owners are millionaires.
