Let me preface this by saying that I really like Bare and no matter what, I will continue doing assignments for them with the same integrity and effort put forth that I always have. That said, I am still waiting on that Gift Card they promised to send and it has been over three months. I was first notified by the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator on April 2 that I was the winner and was told the gift card would be sent right out. April 29th, I sent them an email inquiring about it, no response. May 30th, another email from me," still waiting on that card". June 1st, I get an email, "So sorry, I was in an accident, haven't been able to drive to the office for weeks, but I am back now and will take care of this ASAP." June 8th, I sent another email, no response. July 2nd, I sent another email, no response. Thinking I should go above this person, but have no idea who to contact. Another part of me just wants to say forget about it, I am done! Let me just say it's a good thing I wasn't Mystery Shopping THEM!!! LOL! What do you guys think I should do?
If the person you contacted was telling the truth about being out it is possible she or he got back to work after a bad accident and found they could not handle the stress. Social media depts are probably very small (one person at lots of places) so an email to someone not there will not be read by anyone else. Call the company or send an email to a scheduler and ask for the number. I don't have the number offhand but you can probably find one on their website. Or, was this a scam? Are you sure the contest was through Bare?
You could try 1-800-296-6699. I have contacted a few Project Managers using that number. If you have their last name, you can connect through the directory. Or you can ask the operator how to reach the Marketing Department.

Update...I finally contacted Tabitha and you guys were right, she is great and is going to take care of this ASAP. We chatted about this forum and she had nothing but good things to say about it as did I! She mentioned that she occasionally posts on here and wants to come on to update her status in the company, so be on the lookout for that! Thanks again for everyone's helpful advice or just good thoughts!
Just wanted to let you guys know that I got a package from Bare last week! I got extra on my gift card, and also got other "Bare" branded items along with a hand written note. Although Tabitha gave credit to someone else, I know it was because of her that it finally happened. Thanks again for steering me in the right direction!
