GFK MYSTERY SHOP

GFK uses its contractors and they dont give a damn about the individual. Communication sucks throughout the entire orginization from schedulers on up to GFK Corporate. Avoid this company to maintain your sanity. DO NOT PERFORM SHOPS FOR APRIL MYERS, she will screw you in the end!!!!!!!!!!

I've worked with her and she's always been responsive and helpful.

You are right about the communication problems in that company except for if you have had a pay issue then they are quick to reply otherwise they do suck in their communication skills.
April is a colleague of mine and one of my favorite people for GfK. She's always polite and friendly; we work well together and most shoppers have nothing but nice things to say about her.

I am starting to remember why I turned off my email notification for a while. I don't care if you do email every 30 minutes for the same job with the same bonus, I'm not driving eight hours round trip to Branson, MO for $35grinning smiley

I have worked with April on several shops and always found her to be friendly, helpful and responsive....

Is she a forum member? it would be nice to hear her side to story. I don't trust posters that just rant w/out giving any details.

I turned my selections off around, oh.....December! I still get emails (yes, I checked and it's still "off"winking smiley, and I think I may have to deactivate myself just to keep my inbox clear. And that wouldn't be a bad thing, really. I also keep getting calls from the off-shore schedulers for the giant MSC, even though I selected to remove myself from almost every type of shop they have, asked not to be contacted (don't call me, I'll look you up), and changed my phone number to the spare 10-y-o phone I use for salesweasels. Good grief, weasels!
I have performed different assignments for GKF, some for other companies that utilize their listing services, some directly. I have never had a problem. I agree their communication can be improved.

April is amazing and always quick to help. Also, for the record, I hear things are taking a turn at GFK and they are really trying to focus on our concerns with their shops. I heard they might be changing their guidelines and quizzes based on shopper feedback!
