I will say I did an 'appliance' shop for them. I took a few when they began, on one day, because I thought they would be easy. There were 3 that I could walk to, one after the other, after completing a shop for another MSC., so I scheduled them. I could not believe the trillions of questions that appeared from the hidden pull down screens that are triggered, depending on your answers. I was already used to this happening with some of their other shops, but these were beyond farken reason. I was so irritated filling in the reports and wish someone at GFK would do one.
I only do the appliance shops myself when they are highly bonused (last one I did was $45) or when I know that the location is closed.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
Yes, this is what I got myself into. It was ridiculous. Besides that, they wanted me to shop 3 different appliances at one time, and 2 different types of each appliance. It was WAY too much for one shop. I even felt sorry for the salesperson because it was one thing after another that I was hitting her with, and she really didn't even appear to know that much about each brand. Very difficult and I am cringing for when they look over my report because I don't know what else I could possibly add to it. I will not sign up for this again unless there is a huge bonus attached, that's for sure!!
It should be broken down into one shop per type of appliance. That would make more sense and it would be easier on the shopper and the salesperson being shopped.
that would require gfk paying more and that is something they dont want to do

There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots

DO NOT WORK FOR A COMPANY WHO DOES NOT VALUE AND RESPECT WHAT YOU DO! have been mystery shopping since 2002. I work for over thirty different companies and I am a highly rated, gold certified shopper. There are many mystery shopping companies who care about the work you do for them. I will never work for this company again. I spent travel time to conduct an assignment for them two weeks ago. It was an eyeglass retailer. I had to get a prescription. I took the exam and carefully read the guidelines. Most of the companies I work for tell me that after up to 30 minutes of not receiving help, I should obtain a business card, appropriate photos and report the information. I attempted to call them during the assignment. There was no available support. I waited 39 minutes and it would have been another 30 minutes in a presentation. All of this for $15.00. I contacted my scheduler, who asked me to reply twice to emails about what happened. She told me to fill out the report and that I would be reimbursed for my time. She emailed me back three days later that they could not pay me because I did not go through the full presentation. All this work for nothing. This kind of behavior is disrespectful to effective shoppers who provide comapnies with valuable information.
That's awful balchoices. It sucks to not be respected. I truly love mystery shopping and have done it for about 16 years. Some of the companies are great and willing to pay nice bonus amounts, especially for out of area shops. Some are not willing to do so at all. There's a certain fast food one that I drag my feet on as well, because the pay is horrible for it.....not for GFK, but another company. I will not do the fast food one unless there is a nice bonus attached to it.
Amen balchoices! I agree completely.

Arguing with fools is like playing chess with a pigeon...
...No matter how good you are, the pigeon will s@^t on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Not scheduling for ANY company.
