Albatross-Survey Under Review

Has anyone worked for Albatross? I recently did one job for them and right now in my account it says "survey under review". I sent a message to them, but am wondering if anyone else has any experience with them and what that message might mean. With my wild imagination, I am expecting the worst. I will be glad when they respond. I'm pretty sure I did everything I was supposed to do in the way they wanted it, but maybe I screwed up somewhere. Thanks!

Maybe it is just what they say until it is reviewed and approved. I have worked for them, but I don't remember what that means
Aren't they on the ClientSmart software platform? That one says "In Review" until the editor gets around to editing it, sort of like SASSIE says "Completed".
I'm hoping that's it, but when I ran the cursor over it, another message popped up off to the side. It said something to the effect of my survey being on hold and to contact them. I cannot find a phone number on the site anywhere, so I used the contact form to send a message.
I assume you have checked your spam folder and in box in your email and there is no message?

Yes, thanks for the advice, but I check the spam folder at least two or three times a day. I leave the email tab open in my browser and check it frequently all day long. Probably too often, but you never know when a job offer listing might show up. smiling smiley
Just did one for them recently mine says same thing. I am sure they are just verifying it is ok for pay. They pay within a week once it has been approved.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

Thanks so much, @BuffaloNY101! I hope that is the case for me too. BTW, if you are in Buffalo, which I assume you are, I don't live too far from you--across the border about 90 minutes or less away. We do day trips your way now and then. smiling smiley
I have done several assignments for Albatross and have not encountered any difficulty at all. I never check to see if any of my reports have been "accepted" or are "in review" or anything like that. I feel that if the editor(s) have any questions they invariably email me. Maybe I ought to be checking back with companies that I do assignments for but since I've never encountered a problem I don't bother.
I appreciate all of the responses. I had an actual brain awakening and decided to email the lady who originally contacted me when I signed up with the company. She responded this morning and told me all is well. That message means they are looking the survey over and I will get paid soon. How do you spell relief!!

This is such a good place for information and inspiration!

Sybil2...yep & got it. Just nothing better to do this afternoon than to make silly comments but also finish up on some reporting and looking forward to my usual score of "8" from the "NOT Intelli-Shop" editing folks because they had to correct some "grammar or sentence-structure" issue that they will not, of course, disclose therefore they are deducting 2 points. I've been a bad, verrrrry bad boy.

ETA: I will be having a very good day in a few more hours after I am done with work. 4-day weekend. Yeah! (Disclosure: I actually thought this was Labor Day Weekend when I requested my personal day about two months ago. So I guess I get a 3-day weekend next weekend also. Yeah!)

Don't worry, I still have a few that are "under review" and have been paid. They will take care of you and if they have any questions they will ask. Under review is a good thingsmiling smiley.
I received a payment today for a shop completed on 8/25 - Yahoo!! Only problem is it was for the wrong amount sad smiley I was paid the reimbursement, but not the fee. Does anyone know who I can contact about this, an email or phone number? I would normally go through my scheduler, but this particular shop was assigned by a third party. I can't find the info on the website. I'd appreciate the help!

I received my reimbursement pay today for a shop I did on 8/20. I emailed the lady who originally contacted me when I signed up to Albatross. I asked her why the shop fee had not been paid. When you go to your pay history, does it say "survey under review"? I still get that message. I will pm you with the email address I used.

I just looked and mine from 8/25 also says "Survey Under Review." Weird, considering I received the reimbursement for it. Another shop I did on Tuesday, 9/1, has a different status: "Validation Pending," which sounds similar to the "survey under review" status. I wonder what the distinction is between the two...
I think mine said Validation Pending before it said survey under review, but I don't remember for sure. The lady I contacted assured me there was no issue with my report, but I still worry. I wouldn't have thought so much about it except for the little message off to the left that says it is on hold and to contact them--which I did and that is when she said there wasn't an issue. I don't think they would have reimbursed if there was much of a problem. The reimbursement I got today was 4 times greater than the actual fee that I'm waiting for. Go figure!
Yes I did some soap shops through them and the survey was under review forever. I was not only paid for the shops but they gave full fee + reimbursement. I find they are generous and easy to work with but sometimes getting in touch with their staff to get shops assigned is a pain. Especially when you are getting email after email about a shop.
