How many lower paying bank shops must be completed before they will give you one of the larger pay shops??

My very first two shops for Ath Power actually were the highest fees. I have not done any additional bank shops for them. I see that they are now at $15.
My first shop with them (which I did just last Friday) was $200 but because it was one of the Spanish speaking ones. But I had to apply to it about 3 or 4 times before they accepted one (and very likely they took me because it was close to month end).
Mine were always $12 bank shops, a few bonused here and there but I have not done any bank shops for them in over a year, I am surprised they are $15 ....."if" we are talking about the same bank smiling smiley
One of the regional banks (green and white) dropped from $12 base in August (had been the same for years) to $11 base in September. No change in requirements, just less money. Some shops will now become marginal for me. There is another regional bank (red and white) that they got in April that pays $15 base for a teller shop. I got one of those bonused to $45 and I was very happy to do it. The red and white ones are still at $15 for September and are still limited to one per day.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I used to do some that paid $12 for the teller, $14 for the banker and $9 for the drive through. You could do all 3 in the same visit. Then they dropped the drive through if I recall correctly and made it $14 for the teller + banker and then $12 for the teller + banker. By then I had long left bothering doing shops for them.
The green and white bank is paying $15 in Canada, but maybe that's because our dollar is a little on the weak side. Okay a LOT on the weak side!
In addition to the green & white bank fees dropping, the fees for the northeast regional bank with zillions of supermarket branches have dropped as well.

I was doing the green & white whenever I piled up a bunch of coins in my change jar and needed to use the coin counter and make a savings deposit. I might consider doing that shop again at the lower rate if the timing coincides with my need to empty the coins from the jar and it's a nearby branch, but otherwise I'll forego the lower fee. These shops get snapped up pretty quickly, so there's a good chance I won't do any more of these.

As for the northeast regional bank, when they lowered the fee for the teller and platform shops (it was the client, not the MSC, according to the scheduler I work with on these), I decided that I would no longer do them unless they were bonused. This generally means a bunch of shops at the end of the month, usually at $30-$50 each. In August I did 6 during the last week of the month, none before that. I find them easy to do and like not having to deal with reimbursements.

I've done a lot of assignments for this MSC, so had no trouble getting larger pay shops. The one bank I stay away from is the extremely large ("too big to fail" ) national bank named after this continent. In the past, as a consumer, I found it to be a pretty awful bank and want absolutely nothing to do with it. There's no fee or bonus large enough to change my mind and convince me to open an account or credit card or otherwise give them my personal information.

You have very eloquently put into words exactly how I feel about that large bank that was bailed out. Not enough money in the world to make me go in there. Plus I could not be a neutral party on top of it because after dealing with their" customer service" as a customer I could never remain objective and not bring in past feelings.
My first one with them was for $60.00. I've done only 4 and have been paid, $60.00, $25.00, $55.00 and $200.00 respectively. My rating is only 5 with them but I am working on that.
I have a great deal of respect for shoppers who recognize their inability to be objective about certain businesses and/or find their practices deplorable and will not shop them.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Don't worry about the ratings. I didn't receive any ratings until I had been working with them for 9 months, so that 5 was there at the top of the log for all that time. One day I signed in to my shopper log and was shocked to see that ratings had been assigned to some recent shops. They were all 10s, so all of a sudden I had an average rating of 10. Less than 0.05 % 1/2 of my shops have been rated. It doesn't seem to be a big thing with them. So just keep doing a good job, respond quickly if any issues arise, and enjoy those deposits to your bank account!

I keep a checking account with this bank that I have had since the mid 90's. I deposit my MS checks with the phone app by taking pictures of the check. I have had fraud on the debit card and they were proactive and after the first out of state suspicious transaction, they denied a second purchase attempt and called me and verified that it was fraud. I stopped at a branch and picked up a temporary card with no problems. All I had to do to remove the fraud charge was go to on-line banking and click a box verifying that I didn't give my card info to anyone and it was not my charge and type my name.

They don't charge me for coin counting and I dropped off a half gallon of coins when I did a five minute notary shop that took five minutes to fill out the survey and had no narrative. I have opened and closed a savings account in the same week at two different branches for jobs.

Leave them for me. Thats almost all the jobs I do the them!
The fee for the teller shop at the supermarket banks keeps going down, First it was $13, Then it was $12. Now this month it is $10.50. It also seems like they do not bonus the shops anymore.

I know I used to do one of the shops during the 3rd week of the month because I had a meeting in the office complex next to the branch. And it usually had a bonus. Now, no.

Last month, I did not do any for them - until the lat week of the month. And I only did it then because I actually had to go to the bank to get cash for the weekend.

I think people in my area seem to be learning because these jobs are sitting out there all month sometimes.

Then the scheduler offers a bonus if you do 3 in one day.

The 3-in-one day bonus and gas bonus aren't new - they were offered in the past even before the payment for the supermarket banks dropped.

In any event, I just bide my time and wait for the emails that enable me to make $30 - $50 per shop nearer the end of the month.....
