Non communication with mystery shopping company

I've been shopping for a mystery shopping company who's headquarters are in my state. They are very easy and convenient fast casual shops and I have a hard time resisting accepting them, especially when they have a bonus and are close to me. They rarely respond to emails or phone calls, even when you have a problem with a shop. Recently I assigned a bonus shop to myself and the system puts in the current day your applying and I forgot to change the date, there were still several days to do the shop. I had planned to do it today, the first day I had free. Today has come and I'm still getting automated emails from them saying the shop is overdue with no response to my 2 emails I've sent them. I still want to do the shop but afraid it'll not be accepted since I haven't heard from them. Considering calling and leaving a message and saying that unless I hear from them I will not do the shop. Doing it today is still within the time period of when they needed it done. Thoughts??

It's Service Research Corporation. I've had problems with them in the past, mostly for payment issues and I don't know why I don't just say I'm not going to shop for them anymore.
