Wow. They lowered the reimbursement to $20? The few times I did that shop I could not find items for less than $17. (believe me I tried to find cheaper things) I always ended up getting two things to meet the $25 but invariably that put me over into the $30+ dollar range.@JASFLALMT wrote:
I get ticked when people take those shops for $6. I was insulted when the MSC lowered the pay from $7 (which was already too low) to $6, but people still take them anyway. I won't touch one for less than a $12 shop fee in addition to the reimbursement, and that's only if I already have something else to do in the area to make it worth my time. I got really irritated when that same MSC lowered the reimbursement for one of my favorite shops (high end skin and hair products) from $25 to $20. As it was, there was not a shop fee and it was reimbursement only, but I liked the products so much I would do them for $25 reimbursement. I quit taking them when they lowered it, and last month I had a desparate scheduler call me offering a bonus of $35 in addition to the $20, so heck yeah I took it. They think they are going to save money by cutting fees and reimbursements and it ends up costing them more.

Then they actually questioned me because the receipt was $15.06 - a whole six cents more than the allowed $15.00. THEN they wanted to know why it took 8 minutes and 18 seconds to receive my meal, and wanted me to give them an explanation of the extra 18 seconds! Really? Imagine the reaction if I had actually asked the sweet young fellow in the kitchen why he had taken SO LONG to cook my burger!! I know they are very service oriented, but that's just a little over the top. Wonder if I'll even get paid for this one!

I have done 100s of MF shops but Ive never been emailed about any of them. I answer honestly the good & bad. I get calls for bonuses but no scoldings for too hard or soft.

the higher end ones are not always available in every city.
This is why I fill in the information about the description of the associate on my paperwork, "every-single-time." No matter if they have a name tag on or not. That way, your full description refutes their incorrect nametag--(which could be borrowed)--They may be able to dispute the name tag but it would be hard to dispute a full description.@snupie wrote:
I had a recent FF shop rejected because the order server wore a name tag that had a different name on it. When the store read the report they stated there was no one there by that name. The girl had on a name tag showing Kincaid as her name, but I found out a week later her real name was Mika. This location is notorious for wearing fake name tags due to not wanting to be cussed out by the customers for screwing up their orders. Its a shame that MF wants to cover up all the flaws with these companies just to keep their clients. I can't work like this.
No need to do that. Order a medium. If they say they only have large cups, order the large and explain on your report that there were no medium sized cups. You have no control on the OOS status of supplies@eodermatt wrote:
Backing up to OP -- if they didn't have medium size cups, can you make up something like, "thanks for letting me know, I still only want a medium-sized drink ( because I am trying to watch my caloric intake on cheat day, for my figure, etc. ;-) Is it possible for you to use another size cup (and only fill it part of the way?)"
I don't know the guidelines, but that seems like a compromise.
