Mintel Receipt collection

I did my first shops on Saturday 10/31 and Monday some had been published already. That of course would have been the front end of the deluge. The ones I did Sunday, some were published, some were not yet.

Well I'm not sure since this is the first time I ever looked at that tab. But, I did some on Thursday and they are marked published, if that helps.
That helps. I didn't expect an exact answer. I was just wondering if this company got them done in hours, days, or weeks. Thanks.
FYI - we tried the 'Classic BBQ' tonight and it was pretty bad. The spice mix is primarily cumin and cayenne, which is hardly any of the BBQ classic flavors I have ever run into. The potato pack was not too bad except they were grainy instant potatoes. We ended up smothering the chicken in BBQ sauce out of a bottle as that was what was handy. It did cut most of the cumin.
I'm so disappointed by the negative reviews of these! I was going to bring them up to my family in Pennsylvania at Thanksgiving to distribute, but now I don't think I will - because they sound like they're terrible! LOL
We are having a tasting party tomorrow night with my almost a daughter and her family. We will try them all and then start the distribution.

I have 86 boxes from five shops. I don't buy instant mashed potatoes, but I will see if I can work them into some gnocchi, bread or potato pancake recipes. If not, then they go to the food bank.
Mine will mostly end up in the food bank. I wouldn't bother going to the effort of trying to make gnocchi, bread or other potato products with an instant product.
All of mine say Payment was approved on XXXX 2015 XXXX PM and will be processed shortly. does this mean I can donate all the boxes now? Do i need to wait for payment?
The instructions was to hold the materials for 7 days and then you could use, donate or dispose of them. Some of mine have now passed the 7 day mark but not all. I tried one that had 'passed' the mark. For the rest I will wait until the 7 days have expired and then offload the bunch of them.
Some of mine are past 7 days some are less. All reports have been accepted. I only want to make 1 trip to food bank.
I completed nine (November 1st and 2nd). They were all published a few days ago and finally went to Payment Approved today :<winking smiley. I have not tried them yet but based on the feedback here so far, I think they'll all be going to a food drive :<(
I did one on Thursday and ten on Friday. They got approved today. I'm impressed and happy.
Here are the results from the tasting party. All of us like the pork rosemary garlic Parmesan. It is salty though. The Classic Bbq seems more like a very spicy buffalo rub but we had one (the foodie child) really like it. I did not try the lemon pepper but my husband said it was very lemony. The Italian Herb which has above posted negative reviews we all thought was ok. My "other" daughter who is a very creative cook took quite a few packages saying she had some other ideas for their use.

The foodie child is also a Boy Scout participating in a food drive this week so I was able to fill his bag full when he left.

I still have a lot left but have a couple of others I am going to offer them up to and then the rest will go to the food pantry.

A question to those that donate to a food bank. Will food banks accept the boxes if the security stickers don't stick? I've got roughly 40 boxes to donate, and I really don't want to tape each one shut.
Since I know at least one of the boxes I collected had only the spice pack remaining in it, I will be checking the boxes as I add a piece of tape. It is going to be pretty obvious if the paper packet or plastic packet inside have been tampered with, so I will dump anything that even gives the slightest hint of that. I figure that is a TV watching activity as the boxes get packed in a couple of big paper bags to donate.
I noticed 3/4 of my shops had been approved for payment. All the remaining shops are off the board - no more boxes to purchase.

A food shelf would be thrilled too get those. It really is a simple fix to tape them. Would be a great waste of safe food to destroy them.

I'm late to the thread but just wanted to say I appreciate the insight on the payment timeline (which is what I figured) and the taste test results! I nabbed 24 of these (would have done more if I hadn't already filled up my schedule with bonused McD's and Subway shops for a different MSC, LOL) but haven't tasted any yet since the 7 days haven't passed. Since I now have sooo many of these products, I am thinking of sending some for post office shops too, like maybe sending a friend / family member one of each kind in one package, and if they like one (or more) of them, I could send more of that variety in the next package. Yay! I'll taste them first to make sure they're not terrible though, since there seem to be varying opinions on that. grinning smiley

Not a bad notion, though the boxes are so light weight you probably would need to add some 'ballast' to the box to reach appropriate weight.

True! Or just get big enough boxes to fit a bunch of the seasoning products. According to the label, they're 4.5oz each, so four to a box should be over a pound in theory. I just finally got a postal scale last month, so I'll have to double-check. grinning smiley

I haven't tried them yet but agree a food bank would be very happy to get something other than canned cranberry sauce, etc. Plus, I would think some can write this off as a donation for taxes.
Since it's anonymous I'll also mention I was hoping this shop would go under the radar...absolutely loved doing it and love Mintel. *kisses and hugs* They assigned me a location which was closed. I went there, took a picture and still got the full fee. They're class A-1 Awesome!
