No, it doesn't say either way. But this is the scenario that doesn't say paystub only and direct deposit instead. Why would I need to show my bank statement with direct deposit line as proof of income if I have paystubs? The email that invited me to do this shop in the first place says that there is a choice of scenarios for proof of income. I suspect that the problem here is the new local laws in Dallas that perhaps this MSC isn't aware of.

I called the number you gave and was told to call back in an hour.

After several calls and emails, I went to another scheduler to cancel the shop I had scheduled on Tuesday, and she ended up helping me with my situation. She said that I did, in fact, do everything correctly and invited me to sign-up for other payday loan shops. But that was still after a series of questions requesting further information from me. I couldn't tell if she just gave up listening to me and said, "FINE!" or if she really believes that I did everything right.

So, lesson here in Big D, is if you don't have a paystub, that's okay, you'll just have to fight for your pay!
