ACL and ath Power Payments for August??

I did a huge # of shops in August for a bunch of MSCs. Everyone's paid except these two. ACL states checks being mailed on 9/28 but haven't received anything. I have no idea when ath power pay schedule is. I've been paid for one shop which seemed random, but not the other two. Any thoughts?

EDIT: Ok just checked my ath Power account and says paid on 10/9 now.

I was surprised about the ACL because yes, they were sent out dated 9/28 but I had not received mine as of Friday. It did arrive today, 10/5. Hard to know if someone forgot to drop them off at the post office or whether the post office was just being slow.

Edited to add: It was so unusual not to receive the check 24 to 48 hours after the published date it would be paid that I contacted ACL fearing the check was lost. I normally would not worry much about a couple of days awry one way or the other, but ACL is like clockwork.

ACL has a note on their homepage now saying that they sent the checks out on 9/28 and believe that there was a USPS delay:

Hi Shopper!

We have received numerous emails and calls regarding the status of August’s shop reimbursements.

We can confirm that the checks were mailed out on Monday, 9/28/15, as scheduled. It appears that USPS is experiencing delay in delivering the checks. We have been informed by some shoppers that they have received their check over the weekend and in today’s mail. Therefore, we assume that you should receive your check soon. Thank you for your patience. If you still haven’t received your check by 10/16, contact us and let us know so we can research.

Thank you!

Ok great, thank so much. I've just started shopping with them and wasn't sure if this is a usual issue.
I came home to my payment from ACL today, FYI.

Doing what I can to enhance the life of my family! I LOVE what I do smiling smiley
None for me yet, but since I live in CA, I assume it may take an extra day or two. I'm not worried yet.

MysVal, I've done a bunch of shops with ACL and they are very good at paying on time, nothing to fear. This month though I'm also waiting on my check like most of us. Like CaliGirl, I'm also in SoCal so I hope I'll get mine soon if people already started receiving them. Given how consistent they are with paying on time I was also fearing it was lost until I saw the message on their home page.
I haven't got mine from ACL yet, but I'm in Canada and they usually take up to 2 weeks. I have had packages coming from the states take much longer too, so I'm not worried yet.
Finally got my ACL check in the mail today.

I got my check from ACL delivered by USPS on Saturday 10/11... that's later than usual for them, but it seems they had a mailing snafu as described on their site.
My Ath payment hasn't been received yet, but it shows 10/9 as the payment date and I'm getting a check, so I'm not expecting it for a few more days. If Direct Deposits haven't been received yet, though, maybe the checks will be even a bit later. 10/9 was Friday and yesterday was a bank and mail holiday in the US (and maybe Canada too? Was Monday Thanksgiving over there?), so I'd imagine they'll be a day or two later than usual based on the holiday.

What is the problem with Ath Power paying on time? First they tell you payment is one month after the month the shop is completed. Well! Where I come from one month is normally 30 days. Good luck getting paid from these people. After several calls I finally got paid for shops completed up to 60 days later. Common courtesy goes a long way. As an independent contractor we have gas, tolls, parking expense on top of our time. Holding onto our money extra months so you can earn interest may seem fair to you, but is simply disrespectful to the people who are working for you.
