Hi I have just completed a Harland Clark shop but I don't see a spot where I can upload the business card. Does anyone know where that goes?

It has been a while, but if I recall correctly you need to fill out an invoice and email it. I usually just attached the business card and any other collateral to that email in pdf form.

Yes, the guidelines are massive, but once you get the hang of them they go quite easily. First time on any job is a challenge.

I have been doing the Harland Clark shops, and I am not sure if you need a business card. I would ask the scheduler. That has confused me though because most companies want a copy of the business card.

From the assignments that I have done for Harland Clark, uploading business cards are not needed. But check your guidelines just to make sure.

If you have the name and description of the folks you interacted with I don't know that you absolutely have to have a business card. My 'auto-drive' with a bank shop is to get a card and get collateral that they offer to discuss product with me. If I have it in hand I may as well throw it on the scanner. If I have it scanned I may as well attach it with the invoice to email it all to the scheduler. If they wish to discard it, that is fine. Certainly before they had a website to report jobs on line the business card and collateral were a requirement.

There are no uploads for the assignments and there is nothing to mail, unless they request it. The guidelines should have all that information in it. A lot of the shops don't require sending them anything. They get what they need from the detail of the report.

I think that you may be right about the business card, I looked over the guidelines and I didn't see it anywhere but sometimes when I am reading I miss things so I have to go back over it. I didn't want to take a chance on losing the incentive bonus.

I get the cards anyway, scan them and keep them for a record.

What is also easier is when you get in the habit of doing or noting certain things, then it is easier not to forget. I always get a business card, even when not mystery shopping. On shops, I always note the in and out times, even when only the in time is required. I observe the characteristics of a person for the description as much as I can since some only want a bare minimum and others would prefer to have a body scan if they could.

I agree, if you make it a habit to do certain things, it makes it easier to do them.

I just started them. I have to email the invoice and the business card.

Silly me, I wanted to ask....when and how do they pay?

This MSC asks you to submit an invoice along with your report. Normally, it takes about 2-3 weeks to get paid. The first time that you shop for them, it might take a bit longer to get paid.

If I'm not mistaken (and it's been a year or so since I've worked for them) they process invoices on Monday and Tuesday in LV and transmit them to San Antonio. San Antonio mails out the checks the following Thursday (not the next Thursday).

I have done many shops for HC, and I've never uploaded or emailed a business card. You do, as others have mentioned, have to complete and email an invoice to be paid. Also as others have mentioned, I always do still get a business card for their shops even though I've never had to submit one. Always best to have it just in case.

I have done shops for HC and I always got a business card along with marketing materials. Can't remember if I had to submit the business card, but better safe than sorry. I like doing their shops. The pay for the shops is very good, and they pay quickly. Wish they had more available shops in my area.

I have finally applied for some out of area shops, but I've yet to get any of those, so my options are now pretty limited with them, unless they sign on some other banks as clients.

Usually, business cards aren't needed, yet I would get into a habit of scanning them into a folder on your hard drive or external hard drive and save them for a time when an editor may call you in the event of a dispute. While HC doesn't have an upload function for their surveys, you usually have to attach a business card + collateral in a separate email with the invoice only if the scheduler requests such within the guidelines.
