Market Force Screw Up

I had a shop with them earlier today. When I went to report it it wasn't there. I emailed 2x. They put it back for me, but they listed it with YESTERDAY'S date. It was supposed to be reported within 8 hours and because they deleted it and had to wait for them to fix the problem.

To top things off, I had knee surgery this afternoon and mentioned this saying I would be unavailable to do any reporting until later tonight They replied back that if I am unable to report in the specified time I shouldn't have taken the assignment. Said I had till midnight toretor report it. Ifthey hadn't deleted the assignment it wouldn't have been an issue in the first place.

Being so late in the day I am unsure what to do. I emailed them and am waiting for a reply. Do I fill it out even tho the shop date is wrong? I do have the CPI that has the original date of the 4th.

MF has gotten a little flakey this month. I'm taking a breather from them until after the holidays (and my waistline will thank me for it.)

Print a copy of the CPI showing the 4th and try to get the shop in rather than being here on the forum. If the form will accept today's date you should be fine. Otherwise put in the 3rd and contact the Help Desk again as soon as you have put in the report.
I would file the report and if the only way to force it through is to put the wrong date, do just that. Meanwhile, save the copy of the CPI and every bit of documentation and email the help desk as soon as it is submitted stating why the report has the wrong date You fulfilled your contract and barring an error on the actual shop, you are entitled to payment.

I would add that any communication from a shopper should be sent from their own email provider to MF's help desk. MF help desk will reply to the shopper's email. That way, we have a secure paper trail. The same holds true for other MSCs - Sassie, Prophet, ShopMetrics, proprietary, etc. users.
The scheduler told me the shop was taken off because i didn't report it on time. They are telling me it was for yesterday, the 3rd. The thing is, I had another shop for the same business at another location for breakfast yesterday which I reported less than 90 minutes after I completed it. They do not allow two shops at the same meal period, so there is no way I would or could have done this one yesterday. I sent her a scan of the CPI. The new CPI also was $10 less than the original one as well. Good thing I printed it last night. I did not sign the CPI yet.

I finished the report tonight as she said I could, but the receipts do not match the date. I included info about this in my report.

Ooh boy. Yolks on my face. The mistake was mine. I had multiple shops in different cities and mixed the two of them up. The shop I did yesterday was supposed to be for today and the one I did today was yesterday's. They approved the one I did yesterday. I hope they can fix it. :-(
Thanks for the update. Been there, done that. I am positive you will get a lot of support here. We are all human. Just yesterday, in a tiny town in the middle of Nowhere, USA, I did the wrong gas station. Whodathunk a town of less than 200 would have 2 gas stations of the same brand?

...or a town of 2000 with two grocery stores of the same brand, 5 miles apart, on the same street no less! Even Google had trouble getting the right one! It happens.

I always print my CPI smiling smiley I learned that here, from this forum 5 years ago! So, if the scheduler says you should have performed it on the 3rd, I would look at my CPI to confirm. If you were right, you scan the CPI and send it to them. If you were wrong, you beg for mercy and a chance to re-do the shop.
