Is GFK taking longer to edit reports?

In the past, the longest it's ever taken GFK to grade and mark a report "received" has been about four or five days (at least in my experience). I now have a pending report sitting out there that's been completed for about twice that amount of time. I've received no requests for clarification. I had e-mailed the scheduler about a couple of issues I had in completing the report, right after submitting it, but never received a reply (but it didn't necessarily require a reply, unless there were questions or problems with the issues I reported).

Is this typical, or has it recently become typical? This job was a nightmare, and I'm guessing not just for me, so I'm thinking maybe these reports are taking longer for them to review? Or, maybe just mine is a problem and is going to be rejected. I don't really know, but this is a new wrinkle from them.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.

I don't think mine is the same shop, since I completed mine on 10/31, but it took somewhat longer than usual to mark received, even with no issues. I was expecting payment yesterday, but it is still marked "payment pending" with no word from them or PayPal.
As bad as this sounds, I think certain companies are delaying the process in order to move back payments. If you know the schedule of the MSC's payments and you are doing a shop that is close to the deadline for a payment, chances are you will see it take longer to be approved, just long enough for the deadline to pass.

To be fair, I am not saying this about any specific MSC, just in general as I have seen this trend more and more lately.

To be fair, I have also see the reverse, something what usually takes a few days to process gets pushed through faster so they COULD include it in the deadline. It all depends on the MSC. Heck, last week I did a shop I had done the previous month, everything was the same, and last month it took 8 days to approve, this month it took 15 minutes (YES minutes). I could not believe it, I submitted my report on a Saturday evening and 15 minutes later I received an email from the editor thanking me for a perfect shop and that he approved my shop for payment. I logged in as I could not believe that and sure enough it was marked to be paid.

So it works both ways.
I am having the same issue. I completed one Wednesday and usually contacted within a day or two if any revisions are needed. I'm a little concerned since this one has a huge reimbursement for purchase ($250). I wasn't too worried until I came on in this forum and saw the number people stating that their jobs are being rejected or they are not being paid.

Editing to add now that I am logged in and can see all the responses to a particular post it appears the comments about not being paid are limited to just one or two people? I will just try to be patient! smiling smiley

To tell the truth, once I have completed a shop, I focus my attention on my next shops. I may check my emails incase I needed to provide additional info, but I never wonder when my completed shops would be edited. I am surprised when in less than 24 hours, I receive the results.
When I don't hear from them, I just remember them again when they pay.
I recently did a shop for GFK and it took about 6 days to be edited. It was paid on time. Editing does not delay the payment. All shops completed and edited within a certain window will be paid out in 2-3 weeks. You and I could submit a shop on the same date. If yours gets edited in a day, and mine takes a week, we will still be paid on the same day.

I know that editing doesn't delay payments with other companies, such as intellishop. If complete a shop on the last day on the month, but it takes you two days to get it in, you'll still get paid the following month. I believe that their cut-off date is somewhere around the 7th or 8th for shops done the previous month. Anything not edited by then gets pushed back.
