IPSOS - anyone else's shops disappear?

Had 3 scheduled shops that were due tomorrow and they are just gone - poof - not my job board. Anyone else had this happened? This is a first for me but I just recently signed with the MSC and completed 3 shops for them so I do not have much history with this MSC.

I had one disappear a few days ago. It was back on the job board when I noticed it was no longer in my inbox, too.
I did find out that the, "Due Date" in their system means it should be shopped and submitted by that date. A scheduler contacted me and asked about my shop. I thought I had the, "Due Date" to shop and submit and I was informed of the above. Fortunately they moved the date back one day.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

IPSOS is the most UNcommunicative MSC out there....even the schedulers (all sub-hires) don't write back...one is just left to guess!

Schedulers only communicate to say they can't communicate in a timely manner emails are never directly and personally answered. I had 2 shops disappear today that were due today. I shopped them, now have no way to do the data entry and get paid. sad smiley Doing my best to warn others about this horrid company.
Incidentally, after I emailed the scheduler saying that I expected to be able to do data entry for work completed in good faith and would be complaining to the MSPA and anyone else I could find regarding their unprofessional behavior, I FINALLY got a response that the shops were reassigned to me and they were in my log. Nice to finally get a direct and personal answer, but sad that it took a threat to get it.
Everything seemed good until this last week maybe since the 11/15. I have one or maybe two previously completed shops that were "Submitted" only to NOT be able "now" to see them anywhere in the pay area. Thing is they were there right afterwards, originally, then poof. However I do now see them IN the available for shop queue once again. I think there's a bug in their system which from what I can tell is automated to a great extent. When one sees over 15k of shops go down to under 5k that's alot of processing which is more than likely being done by the system itself taking much of the human interaction out of the process. And...The programmer themselves might be out with a virus.
I haven't had any problems with schedulers getting back to me, dunno what area you guys are in, but I have always gotten a response within 12 hours on weekdays.

Right now though, all the possible shops are not showing up for me on the shopmetrics board. Says there are 4200 some available, but nothing shows up. I've gotten several emails with local shops available, so not sure what the deal is.

I just got a response from my scheduler saying that she had NOT received any of my previous emails (so, I re-sent them).... (hard to believe her, though because...i sent Five!). Still have not heard from anyone at IPSOS,,,I just used LinkedIn to contact a couple of their executives....willupdate later.

Well, no contact from the IPSOS executives, but a manager of summitt scheduling did call and she said that she would "forward my concerns?.....grrreeaaaatttt.

I disagree. I have done quite a few assignments for them in the past few weeks and have had to contact schedulers and IPSOS directly and have received verrrry timely responses (often within a few minutes) even though one of my schedulers who I work closely with said she receives over 400 emails daily.
I'm not sure how many times I have to post this, but while it is best to communicate with your scheduler first, if you are having issues you can always email me at info@summitscheduling.com and I will look into the issue.

you have posted this mannnny, mannnny times yet still there are those who continually use this forum to bash/trash and lay siege to everyone/everything in sight...and in a lot of those cases it's to assuage their lack of following the requirements/guidelines of assignments that they have failed to follow and they want to blame the messenger. Summit Scheduling and IPSOS have been responsive in a timely manner (at least with me) and I have had to send messages for some clarification and have always received communication back...quickly.
These are some of the easiest shops I have completed. Like any other shop, there are guidelines that must be followed, but they are not complicated. However, it seems like many shoppers choose not to read them.
I too have had problems with not seeing the new shops available. The available shops will show over 7000 available, yet none show up when I select that option. I have had a fast response from the schedulers and they have been able to address the issues I brought to them.
I had a late shop disappear today, but I was expecting that could have happened. It was only a day late but they probably had a back-up already. I am glad, I checked before I went to do it though. I had emailed the scheduler, but from other post I have read, I figured that would not make a difference. I did not get a reply to my email, and I sent it when I applied for the shop. I am wondering if it depends on your location who is the scheduler. Personally, I really don't care if I have a shop or not with them, but just saying that some of us are not getting responses within 12 hours or any hours.

Please be sure you click on the Opportunities tab, this is something that has changed recently in Shopmetrics. It doesn't default you to that tab it defaults you to your active shops. It's right above where you put in the zip code.

I sent Summit an email thru the link that has been provided on the forum. Result - never heard back - just saying.
And.... guess who is holding the bag when all guidelines are followed and the MSC (in this case, IPSOS) has completely screwed the pooch, won't respond, and refused to pay?

I agree Brian. Even when I did have an issue that might reasonably have been assumed to be a "scheduler" issue, I did as Judith asked and sent her a message care of the info email, and she responded within minutes! In a few hours not only was the issue dealt with, but I had been paid... as in money in the PayPal account! I certainly can't ask for more responsive than that!

I had a question about the guidelines (purpose of the shop) - I tried to get a reply from the scheduler FIVE TIMES - I included both of my phone numbers - NO RESPONSE. I emailed their management - NO RESPONSE. I'm glad some other shoppers do get replies from the scheduler. I did not. It's too bad so many of us have had bad experiences with a handful of unresponsive IPSOS staff. Hope these bad schedulers are replaced by good ones. This is the first time I've complained on any forum.
***Here we go again! Yes, it's a game I guess to someone. I was. Assigned two shops wasted some more ink and, paper only to find them gone like they were never there!
I only applied for these two because I am going to be in the same city and, within walking distance. Convenient. Has ANYONE seen this BS or is it just with this mixed up scheduler?
They owe me a chunk from last month. I hope I get that and I am DONE! IPSOS cares not.
They sure are at the top of the Trend List here!! If anyone has a positive experience MSC with work in California let me know? I'll do the same for ya. No more Scumit Schedulers plz!
You can keep posting this but, Your getting the same result! Perhaps you should try something new.

Only positive experiences with this company and the schedulers so far in California. Got paid in full on the 17th or 18th. They reply to my emails promptly. All of the shops in my immediate area (radius of 50 miles, which covers quite a few locations, hundreds probably) are completed. I have not had any shops disappear.
I'll repeat this again.

You may have to continue saying it because many don't believe. It's easier to complain on the forum. You might want to reach out to teriraia, the OP, who says that on November 25 she contacted Summit and didn't receive a response:

Maybe teri can then report back that her question was answered when she communicated with her scheduler and it will validate your posts. If enough posters report back success after contacting the scheduler, you might not have to keep saying it.
I can't stand IPSOS..I'll be so happy when they finally implode and their shops can be done through MSCs which aren't so poorly managed.

instead of your carping about something that you probably don't have first-hand knowledge about would you care to elaborate with specifics so that your comment(s) are taken seriously?

or are you just reading through comments about a topic(s) that you can comment on based upon hearsay lacking factuals?

congrats...as a psychologist i now feel that i can validate to students of mine that you have, indeed, fulfilled the classic definition of insanity per einstein (i shall take the liberty of paraphrasing)...
