Ath and Sentry?

Out of curiosity, how are Ath and Sentry connected, or are they? There's an email going around supposedly from Ath in an attempt to get shoppers to sign up for epayments and while the subject line and email say Ath, the sender says Sentry. Odd? Fraudulent? Or are these two somehow oddly connected? The email is headed for the trash bin (I never click on the links in these types of emails), but I'm curious if there is a connection, if someone royally messed up, or if it's one of the many, many scams out there where the scammers show they are not the smartest critters in the universe. What's the answer? :}

Ath Power and Sentry are not connected. Both of them happen to use Bill.com to send payments. Ath Power has used them for years and I have never had a problem with direct deposits from Bill.com while Sentry has only begun to use them recently.

I have not seen the email that you are talking about.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I think it's some kind of scam probably. I was really surprised to see it talking about Ath but with Sentry as the sender.
The companies are not connected. I'd love to get a look at that email if someone could forward it dave@sentrymarketing.com.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I can't find anything under the crap pile of emails that Intelli-shop sends me lately..... If I do see it, I will post it here.
