CRI / Stericycle issue...no jobs within 100 mile radius

Has anyone experienced this in the last few days? On November 30th there were at least 20 available jobs within a 10-mile radius of me. Ever since December 1st there is only 1 job showing up, 92 miles away from my zip code. I tried random zip codes and get the same thing.

I have a good rating with them, so I don't think I've been de-activated. I e-mailed them but haven't had a response yet. :/

I still have their usual allotment of NASCAR places to choose from for December.

The one shop I can do...... I can do it for another client for much more money (and I get a better guide).
I think there's one, maybe two other regular shoppers for their main client in my area. And even though we have never met, we all seem to understand that you don't bother signing up for anything until the 20th or so.

Despite their IE insistance, I like this company and wish I could have seen them in their heyday.

What i have noticed is in the ladt 8 mo it seems they have almost NO shops. Im thinking they are going to be going out of buisness soon just like market force.
did anyone get paid for them? I was suppose to get paid 1/1 but didn't even though it is marked as paid. I do still see shops for them nascar and book store in my area.
1/1 was a bank holiday.

My direct deposit went through on 1/1 even though it was a holiday. It showed as pending and was available. Maybe it depends on the bank.

Probably. Before a buy out, my old bank would show pending DDs. Now nothing shows until after 8 am on business days.

Yea I know it was a holiday it listed as paid on the Wednesday before was just curious.
Not if that is the day they processed your payment. When an ACH payment is processed it can either be set to post the following day or on a future date. If the date chosen was 1/1, it is then dependent on your bank's processes. If your bank is more like mine than MsJudi's, you should see it Monday. It has been a really long time since I've shopped for them. It seems like in the past they processed payments on Monday or Tuesday and had them set to post on Friday while showing them paid. Keep in mind it has been several years so my memory may be foggy on the matter.

Dare,
I think Stericycle is experiencing some problems that we're not suppose to know about. I feel a bit like a fool for only catching on after so long.

In 2014 they were always asking me to do MS for them, that program vanished soon in 2015.

I used to do a load of work for them in their recall line, usually there were 2-4 pickups a week in my area, now down to once a month. I haven't seen a rate increase in 7 years. Yes I am getting cranky about that.

I've seen checks cancelled, I've seen checks late, I've seen me submit invoices, they issue a check, then find out they don't match. When I squawk I get told I should've been told X and I am TOL.

Anyone who research's Stericycle knows the work we do for them as IC is a side business, and I think we're starting to see the side affects of this. Since it appears clear that management isn't putting the time and/or effort into this part that it deserves.
OR...... they are not getting the paid recalls. I have researched that.... MANY companies are not paying for a paid recall. They depend on FB and media to announce it and go at it that way. Gone are the peanut butter and tylenol and lunchable recalls by the thousands....

Canadamommy,
While your comment address one of my grudges, it doesn't address the rest.
Ok... so..... find another that does recalls....
Simple they do not have enough work look elsewhere...

Who says I am not looking for other companies that do product recalls? Easier to push for things when you have a new guy (or company) all lined up.
