Yes. I have a dealership shop never reviewed since the beginning of November. I gather you have called and they said they were backlogged. Any idea when they will get to the November shops?

Usually it's within an hour on the cinnamon roll shops.

Quite surprised by this on the dealership shops. But I have seen some comments here so I figure we are all in the same boat. smiling smiley
It does seem like it's taking longer but they also seem to be grading easier now. I received 8s and 9s on my shops earlier this fall but received 10s on my most recent ones. They also didn't contact me at all about those. Hopefully they won't contact me about my most recent car dealership shops because after a couple weeks now I'd be hard pressed to remember specific details!
Wow, six weeks?!? I'm sorry you have to be stuck in limbo like that. I hope you don't have the money slated for something soon.

I waited three weeks for my Nov 5th car dealer shop to be edited and approved - which is unusually long for them. And despite getting a 9/10 score, the editor's comments were quit abrupt and just a tad cranky.

I haven't done another shop for them since - mainly because I'm burned out on car shops and there haven't been large enough bonuses to incentivize me to pick one up. I may wait until I stop seeing posts about them being behind on editing until I take another one.

I used to see a life coach pretty regularly.... back when they were called bartenders.
I just did a oil change shop for them today and it was reviewed seven hours later. Maybe this means that they are caught up.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
I did 2 $2 phone shops for them. The reviews were done right away but one said:
"Thank you for your report. In the future, do not copy and paste reports from other reports. Even if the general information is the same, be sure that the comments are original to each report. Please also be sure to be very detailed in your comments, and not vague. Keep these things in mind and your future reports will be great. Thank you."
And the other said:
"~ Thank you for your report. Your comments were well-written and provided us with a clear understanding of what happened during your visit. Please keep up the nice work!"

um......
I was offended for sure. I did not do such a thing. But what can you do about a review?

shopping in Placer, Yuba, Nevada and Sacramento Counties in Northern California.
I had this occur once when I had an unusual shop and there was miscommunication with the editor and scheduler because I volunteered to complete another part later. It took about 3 weeks from input to be accepted..a few days graded and then a few days later the shop fee included...but there was a lot of back and forth with the scheduler and myself..so, communication is important.
There is another thread on this, Intellishops recent lateness. I am done with this company. They do not care about their shoppers. They decided to pay 30 days LATE just because they think they are entitled to extra time. When pay day comes, you pay your shoppers. If you dropped the ball and didn't get it validated, you take responsibility and still pay your shoppers. We each have a job to get done, per the contract. It is not one sided. They didn't even have the decency to tell people they decided to pay in December for October shops. I filed a complaint, after contacting them in numerous ways and getting the run around. The owner didn't even reply. They have yet to respond to my official complaint with the BBB. So that is how much this company cares about you having to pay bills or being able to rely on them. You have companies like GFK and Best Mark who are paying at double speed to help shoppers for Christmas, or Trendsource who pays twice a month anyway. Support the companies who treat you with respect. Intellishop is all over the place and they can keep their low ball shops. I shop full time and there is no place in my life for an unreliable, disrespectful company. They are going downhill fast. When the owner doesn't even care, there is no hope for a company.

Midwest shopper. Former New England shopper.
There are different editors and teams of editors for different clients. Because one has a fast turnaround doesn't mean that they are caught up as a whole. I hope IntelliShop will be more transparent about these delays and respond to shoppers.
I just got an editor who doesn't seem to read the narratives as some of the questions he answered were in the narratives.. PLUS they don't know the questions as well...
Here's the magic question: If we have shops that have not been reviewed for XX weeks, then will the payment be speeded up, to reflect the delay? smiling smiley
Jessi,
So, I looked up Intellishop and BBB ..as one does and finds this: [www.bbb.org]
So, I don't believe you.

[I see the web link has been truncated. The page shows last complaint of 10-15 and prior to that 4-15. All complaints have been responded to and settled...owner responding to the ones I've seen. So, I call shenanigans.

They have been erratic since early November. Hoping it's just their busy season and they get caught up.

IS just is paying lip service when saying all their stuff about their love for their shoppers....deep down in their dark heart, they hate us.

I have done over 200 shops for intellishop and never had a problem getting paid on time. I have 2 scheduled this week. They are good paying shops for one of their auto companies. I have always had open communication with the schedulers in my area (PA/MD) and have been treated well by all but one of their schedulers. That scheduler is no longer with the company so I assume she treated other shoppers in a similar manner. They are one of my most dependable marketing companies ( I work for 39 right now).

Mod note: Name of auto company removed to prevent breach of Forum rules and probably violation of ICA caused by linking an MSC with its client.
I got an editor who was a little bit of a grammar police... 6/10 when I usually get 8's or 9's.

Now i'm just waiting on my other shop to be graded....

I agree Intellishop is one of the best companies to work for. I also agree that they are getting slower on evaluating my shops. My main problem with them is one their evaluators. I do a particular Credit Union for them a lot. They posted one the other day, so I took it since I am a member. All the branches I have gone to close at 5:30 or 6:00 pm. I got to this branch at 4:30 PM and they were closed. I wrote and explained to her that I could not make it because my regular job ends between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. She listed me as a flake... Makes me want to quit shopping for them, but I realize it's only one evaluater..

I think I'm confused.... Isn't that part of an editor's job, in addition to making sure a shopper follows the guidelines? They're supposed to be grammar police, right?

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
Since you removed all your posts do you have an update? Were you paid? Were they reviewed?

One question on the form inquired about how many times >1 minute the staff member left me. He only left me once >1. But he left me a total of two times. The survey inquired about what caused the employee to left me >1 minute, and the editor wanted both.

Oh; well, that seems to be less of a grammar issue than an oddly worded, oddly interpreted (by the editor, not you) question! Which, as I'm finding out, seems to be more the norm than the exception in this business! How can one be expected to be a mind reader? Which one has to be in order to figure out "exactly" what "they" want!

I'm just about at a month for one of the shops from being reviewed. I am hoping they pay out both of them ASAP as then they will be in violation of the ICA.
If the agreement is "45 days after you perform the shop, you will be paid" then the 30 days of waiting to be graded should be counted in this number...smiling smiley
Most of the ICAs I have with the MSCs have a provision that says that payment schedules are "subject to change at the MSCs discretion.," or something to that effect.
I did two shops for "team top gun" and I will never do another. Both took 7 weeks to review. The second shop they are refusing to pay. The salesperson told me we could take a look at the vehicle I was shopping and then he said...and we could even test drive it. When we had throughly viewed everything on the car and he hadn't brought up test driving again...I said, 'so can I drive it?' A test drive is REQUIRED for these shops. I think I would still be at the dealership with the numnut salesperson if I hadn't. So 7 weeks after the shop, they say no pay because I asked for the test drive. I sent an email back and explained the situation and requested they reverse the decision and was sent back a curt reply that the shop guidelines said I could not ASK for a test drive. Yes, same guidelines where they say you MUST take a test drive. Fool me once...but never again.
However, all other Intellishop shops I've had no issues...prompt editing and pay on schedule. Learning process for me....stay away from certain teams with a company.

from the guidelines:

Test Drive
You MUST go on a test drive if offered. If the associate offers you a test drive (most will), you must test drive
the vehicle. DO NOT ASK TO GO ON A TEST DRIVE. This must be offered by the salesperson. Note if the
vehicle was available (on/off the lot, blocked in, etc.) and the condition it was in (exterior, interior, fuel level,
etc.)

----

from the shop report:

TEST DRIVE
The shopper is to evaluate the salesperson's handling of a test drive. The purpose is to determine whether the salesperson offered a test drive without the shopper asking (the shopper must not ask for a test drive) and how the salesperson presented the test drive and the condition of the vehicle driven.

If the salesperson offers a test drive, the shopper must accept, otherwise no test drive is conducted.
I was told that the 2 part car shops, which require an internet lead and on site, require separate reviews, and tha'ts why they are behind.

then you should have immediately said 'ok! right now?', without asking for a test drive later. if you don't respond, then they may think that you're not interested. you must accept the test drive if/when offered.
