ATTENTION IPSOS SHOPPERS (read this) !!!!!

For all the naysayers, whiners, doom-mongers and general buzz-killers out there, this morning (1 week or so early) I received the following email from PayPal...

"Just thought you'd like to know Ipsos Interactive Services sent you $xxx USD.

Note from sender, Ipsos Interactive Services

Thank you for performing the XXXX shops! Please review your Pay Statement 210 for payment details."

I was paid for all shops . I haven't had the opportunity to audit the Pay Statement but I would be surprised if it wasn't correct.

I'm hardly an apologist for IPSOS and I'm the first one to snark on an MSC or scheduling company that isn't performing up-to-snuff and IPSOS does seem to have had a few minor glitches/growing pains which is to be expected. But the amount of vitriol, misinformation and just general griping that has spewed from a very few vociferous forum posters is not entirely shocking as these are the glass is half-empty types. As well as folks who cannot follow or comprehend guidelines which cause their assignments to become invalid.

And...those who hide behind the cloak of anonymity and continually post under newly-created screen names are cowardly and lack credibility (yep, I'm calling you out and you know who you are).

Just sayin'

I have had the exact same experience as you have with them, and they have been very forthcoming with communications when troubles arise. I HAVE audited my pay statements, and they were entirely correct!

What part of ParkCityBrian gives you the impression that Brian is actually a Patty? Are we entering Bruce/Kaitlyn Jenner territory now?
I very seldom say negative things about MS companies, there are certain ones ,however, that take on the appearance of being less than professional or coherent. I have shopped for almost 24 years now and have encountered a few clinkers along the way. Just because a few people have had a good experience with a company doesn't mean that the rest of us are whining gripers.

I also received payment early, but just for a few shops. They paid me for 2 shops completed the first week of November, but didn't pay me 2 shops that I completed the last week of October. Strange, but I'll wait patiently for the rest of the money.
Good for you, I'm glad they paid you. Since I won't be taking any more of their shops there will be more for you. I can't be bothered with that manure.

I'm still waiting for payment for my October shops. I was told it would be posted last week or this week. Still three days to go, so we'll see.

Hi Cettie, I'm not sure of your real name, but if you want to email me directly I'll look into your shops for you.

I received my round 2 payment yesterday. Smooth sailing from beginning to end! Thanks Judith, Kate, Jenn and Ipsos!

Shopping Central Jersey Shoreline. WHAT? I'm an adult?! When did this happen?! How do I make it stop?!

I have received payment for 9 of 10 [names clients] shops that I completed. The payment was completely accurate. I have not yet received payment for most recent shop which is understandable as the shop was completed less than 2 weeks ago.

Mod note: It is against forum rules and an ICA violation to name the client with the MSC, which has been said in the thread title. Please refer to the posting guidelines when posting.
Received another payment (2nd one) this morning and was accurate.

Ummmm....funny that we haven't heard from the whiners, winers, naysayers, scoffers, detractors, negativists, belitters, dedriders, critics and/or just plain quitters.
oh wait, forgot something......& 4 days early.

And, nope once more, I am not an IPSOS scheduler, editor and have zero affiliation with any MSC and/or scheduling company. I remain a severe critic of those MSCs and scheduling companies that deserve it...and there are plenty of 'em.
I have worjed fir them the last ciuple of months, and I have not had a problem getting paid. In fact, I received payments when I wasn't expecting it.

I realize sometimes for some reason ,we may experience problems at some point with MSCs ,but so far so good with this one.
I feel like they pay substantially faster than the last company that had my favorite shops. I have had ZERO complaints so far.
I think I missed something over the past weeks. who had a sex change? Lots of edited posts. Ipsos has been me on time & in full. Not sure what the prob was.
I got paid for my Nivember shops this week too. No issues-pay was right. I just wish they had more shops in my area I was interested in doing.....
I was paid early also, and the one shop reimbursement that did not agree with my accounting turned out to be due to an overall reimbursement cap of $10 on the "special sauce" shops I had overlooked.
I just wanted to update because I know I mentioned my payment issues on another thread. As of a couple days ago, Ipsos has made good and is current with their payments to me. Yay! I continue to hope the delay was a one-time thing.

Happily shopping the Pacific Northwest. Shopping since 2013 smiling smiley

I just received correct payment for my Nov [gives away client] shop. This month I did both [gives away client]and [gives away client] so I will need to wait til Jan to see what transpires but if any of you have received payment for a [gives away client] shop where your was rejected please let me know how getting reimbursement for your proof of visit purchase is going. In another thread people said they were not getting reimbursed but that was not a [names client] thread so I am appealing to the [names client] shoppers directly on this thread. My scheduler says you are supposed to get reimbursed but there may have been a glitch. I am curious what the reimbursement limit is. It sounds like it might be up to $10 for the non accepted proof.

Mod note: Edited for multiple ICA violations
I just started shopping for Ipsos two or three months ago and have had no payment problems.

I am not a coward but I am realistic. I do not believe anyone would use their real identity. I often comment and attempt to mentor to help MSC's or shoppers. My whole life I have followed the mentoring common sense from a few mentors who said versions of "You can have everything on life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want if you help them CHEERFULLY, INTELLIGENTLY AND WITH INTEGRITY. No one likes to be abused, misled or cheated. . Some MSC's can not take constructive and objective criticism and would discontinue a shopper it they knew who the shopper was . Would you believe my real name is Ann Onamoose and I am related to BULLlwinklel the moose? (I also like to entertain for those who needs a smile on their face.

You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want ..Zig Zigler
Just my two cents...you can spend each cent separately or together...Still waiting for IPSOS payment back to July (1 shop) September (2 shops)...also have not received October or November payments as well,....not a whiff....I have written, called, written and called the scheduler and the scheduling company's owner....still nothing....I think they should be avoided, and, as for the scheduler (Summit)....no thank you. Being handed off back to IPSOS is not anyone's idea of solving a problem.
I received my NOV shops payment this week without an issue. Even paid in full for my rejected shops ($15 each). I don't have a problem with IPSOS smiling smiley

Following up on this:
Sorry this response was so long - that's why I ask shoppers to email me (instead of sending a private message here), so it's right in front of me all day and I can't overlook it. Also in an email I can attach screenshots to help clarify things.

For your shipping shop, the guidelines say:
You must ship to an address in zone 5-8. If you don’t ship to a zone 5-8 location, your shop not be able to be used. If you don’t know anyone in one of these areas, consider shipping a bag of rice to a food bank in a zone 5 location.

They also provide a zone tool so you can look it up: ZONES: A zone is defined by how far you ship a package. You can determine the zone by using the online tool: [postcalc.usps.gov] .

You shipped from zip code 147xx to zip code 285xx, which is zone 4 on the chart, so as the guidelines had stated, your shop could not be used.

I'm sorry that you feel that way. We are contracted to schedule and edit the shops, and frequently intervene with shopper issues. However in your case, it is out of my hands since I'm not willing to say that NINE different postal locations were incorrect and you were right. Summit does not pay shoppers (ever) - the client does, so your issue is in their hands at this point. As far as your other shops, if you would like to send something directly with more detail instead of posting multiple vague forum threads, I am happy to research those.
