a certain companies cell phone reports are garbage...

This thing never ends, by far the longest of the phone reports i've done. Definitely done with this company. ugh, they don't pay enough for this nonsense. I edited the thread name to take out the name of the company just to make sure I don't get heat on me. It's just annoying, 14 dollars for a billion questions(and tons of narratives).

Isn't $14 a billion pennies? smiling bouncing smiley

At least the other MSC, only offers $8 for a shorter report, no narrativesmiling smileysmiling smiley

Sorry you've been through this. Phone only shops usually don't pay nearly enough, especially if you're not doing many at once and it's just not worth it to invest that much time in reviewing the shop instructions.

I've even seen $3.00-$4.00 for phone call shops with moderate narrative, though it doesn't sound like the same company.

it wasn't a phone shop in that sense, it was a shop where you go inquire about a smart phone. funny thing is after i came here to complain about that report, i did a report for a different msc in which the scenario was almost exactly the same but the report took an hour less... and paid almost double. but yea, i agree that phone shops you mean don't pay enough. well there's actually 1 company who pays fairly in my opinion.

Done that shop. I will only fo eith bonus, thrn I cuss through the report. Soooo not worth it.
Yup, that company's smartphone shop is a PITA. Did it once at a bonus, and will never do it again. The report took forever. And unless the MSC has changed them, the guidelines and survey are a mess.

They'd have to pay me $100 to do that job again, as it was structured.

Was this type on a phone? or is this how you talk? For me, I don't know what you are saying or postedsmiling smiley
He or she has completed the same shop. He or she will only do another one for a bonus. He or she cussed while filling out the report. He or she does not think the assignment is worth it for the pay.

I think the length of time it takes to do many reports depends on your typing speed and the familiarity you have with the report. The first report is always worse. Many get easier and go much more quickly with time, and then they can be profitable in a route.

Lisa, Google should hire you to provide the translations for auto correct laden posts. Then when we see posts like this on the web we could click the "Translate this Post?" button and zap it over to you for deciphering. winking smiley

Yeah the GFK ones suck. The market force ones suck also because the amount of time it takes to sit and wait for a sales person and then sit through the sale. The reports are easier but pay poorly,
the market force reports are so easy that i don't mind going there and doing the shop. the people there couldn't care less about showing you any phones, they just want you to switch over to them. gotta go over to the computer, as they show you the rates and pretend like they're giving you such a great deal with all these discounts, meanwhile it still comes out to $95 a month lol. but the other company you mentioned, yea... that may have been the company I was referring to when I made this thread, i'm not saying it was though.

I just did some for IPSOS and they are a breathe of fresh air. Fair compensation for the time to prepare, perform the shop, and report it. Of course, I would always like more than the $12 those paid.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I took one of those once, saw the report and immediately canceled it. "Easy", ha.

The cell phone shops I do are easy, fast and a small narrative about the rep at the end. smiling smiley

They pay between$10 and $14...

I took mine at a bonus, and did I ever shortchange myself!

I have a feeling those shops get cancelled a lot once people see the reports. It is way too much, especially for the pay. I like the people at the company and the quick pay, but I did a Lowes shop for them that made me hate my life, and every second of the input. Either have reports that are not ridiculously excessive or pay way more than that low ball pay. I am starting to not want to work for them as I expect to run into 75-100 questions for what should be a very basic shop, completely unnecessary.

the company that does lowes didn't do the smartphone shop i was referring to. the lowe's shop is a lot easier than this particular cell phone shop in my opinion. i've done cell phone shops for 4 or 5 other companies and they were all a lot less work than this one.

Would you believe $1.75 for some phone shops?! That's so insulting I have never even clicked in to check out the requirements. Someone must be doing them, though, as I keep seeing them offered. Go figure.
I did 3 smartphone shops in the same week for three different MSCs. It was very confusing trying to remember what the different scenarios were that I had to follow.
