Yea well I call marketforce the peanut gallery. It always seems to me marketforce tries to get away with paying peanuts for shops. Even when they increase the fee it still should be more imo. Literally the image I get in my head when they release all of their new shops each month is them coming out and throwing peanuts all over the floor and seeing who's hungry enough to eat them up off the ground. Then the second week any shops that aren't taken they throw them back out as pennies and hope someones poor enough to take it. Any shops that make it out to the third week you finally see some silver. The only way to make decent money on a shop with marketforce is to hope that everyone holds out on the shops and strike towards the end of the month
The ones I've seen have the most shops that I was considering were the ones at LAX, O'hare, Miami, and Newark.

LAX has a few that require you to get into TBIT, which unless you fly to Asia, is pretty tough. They aren't hard shops at all, but most take 45 minutes, as they are sit-down jobs.
Does anyone know how to figure out which terminal the shops are in without accepting them. I'm flying out of LAX soon and wouldnt mind a free meal. I can't tell which terminal the shops are in.
It's a Marketforce style report. If you've shopped for them before, you should know what to expect.... Aka definitely NOT narrative-heavy like CSE.

Well, you can try and figure it out from the location and then compare it to the LAX map. You can try calling, then finding out where they're located. You can call / email Helpdesk and asked. We can guide you much without knowing more details about the shop. Knowing more details will probably be against our ICA's anyways.

Just ask the scheduler where the shops are located.
There are no scheduler's listed on the shop. The info says " LAX" and thats it. I can't figure it out unless I accept the shop first. I've emailed them, hopefully they;ll get back to me. I don't even know who the shop is for, for all I know, I might not want it.
Actually, every single shop lists exactly where it is located. You might want to check again.@calicakes wrote:

They are not helpful and will tell you the same thing, since the locations are clearly listed.
ok, i looked again and searched for Terminal 3 and Nada so I guess its a moot point.

It's where they had that horrible shooting.
Sometimes they list an address with the shop and it seems as tho the numbers in the address of the shop correspond with the terminal number. Years ago I called MF to ask about the terminal that a shop was in and they seemed not to even know there were separate terminals at LAX. I just returned last night in terminal 6/7 (United) but did not take one of the 6 shops there as my plane was landing after 9 PM and I was not sure the places would all be open. Also the fee was listed at $10 and with all my luggage, just coming off a 6 hour flight it did not seem worth it to spend another half hour in the airport for a report and a $10 fee.

You also risk somebody taking your luggage (if you stay to do a sit-down dining shop), as you have to leave the secure area to get it and can't get back inside. I have found that some of the MF shops at LAX don't cover the required purchases either (drink item + food item). So, you eat up some of your fee buying the items and leaving a tip.

I have reached out to Marketforce (through their helpdesk tab) and asked the same question : I'm flying from LAX Bradley Terminal in a couple of weeks, and the shop listing does not give the terminal. Their answer was that they did not know, and I would need to self-assign the shop to get the details. I did that, turned out it was in the wrong terminal, so I cancelled the shop and gave the explanation that it was not in my terminal and I could not know before... I guess that's the only way to know for sure!
I see lots of shops in Bradley terminal and they go begging for months. Those have a much higher reimbursement and a fee so I think they must be nicer restaurants. I have also seen a shop there that will reimburse for a bottle of liquor. I cannot remember which msc it was that has them but there are several of the relatively small number of msc I am signed up with that have a notice on the first screen that comes up to get in touch with them if you are flying. I live only 3 miles from the airport so these shops come up regularly for me as it is so close. For MF they usually take up half a page of my 1 or 2 pages of shops in my chosen mileage from home. The Bradley shops are not for MF.

If the MSC won't tell you what terminal the shop is in, why would you even consider it. Don't tell me that they don't know where the shops are, that's bull! I have shopped many shops at a different airport and know exactly where they are, long before I shop. So you apply, cancel and they say your a flake! How unprofessional!
