Intellishop

Anybody else having issues with them ? I did a shop about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and now am getting requests to redo. I got threatening email, saying they have now had to ask me "numerous" times to re-do report, and yes, this is the 3rd revision, because each time they have something else they want. Each revision is more and more detailed, like they're looking for a reason to deny shop. I usually don't have many issues with my shops, and do detailed shops, but this one has gotten out of hand. Now they have "Do you agree not to post anything related to this shop on social media?" (no I haven't done the third revision yet). I had issue with a previous shop that they waited 2-3 weeks to edit, then expected basically word by word on the shop. I live in a 2 party state, so legally I can't record. Luckily I have a decent memory, and since I haven't done one recently that is the same kind I am able to remember most of it.

It sounds like your problem is the same one discussed in this thread.

What I find interesting, and disturbing, is, "Do you agree not to post anything related to this shop on social media?" It is more than obvious Intellishop is going through growing pains after acquiring Service Excellence. Most of their problems appear to be of their own making since they have lowered fees on all those shops along with added new shops whose pay is nowhere near commensurate with the work. It has resulted in schedulers being even less responsive along with using horrible tactics such as the email subject line "Past Due Shop" on job postings plus editors who must be new or are not even bothering to familiarize themselves with shop guidelines. The idea they want to take away the shoppers only way of knowing about these problems is repulsive to me.

They are not the only company to have such a proviso in their ICA and to me that immediately reads as, "We know we are hated because we are screw-ups, but you don't get to tell anybody about it." Wrong. Definitely not a company to be bothered with.
Just don't shop for Intelli any more. Their pay is the worst. Every week it seems the pay decreases. At least one of their editors is a nightmare. Save all emails back and forth.

I did one shop with them for convenience store in my area. They did not pay for me for that one stating that there is a restroom over there. I did that store for few years and there is no restroom inside for customers. I asked them to check it but they refusing to answer stating that manager shall approve that pay. That story going and going for month and there is no end. But for now I am sending scheduler request to check it. The pay is very low but there is no pay in question: I need the truth!

I keep toying with whether or not to sign up with this company, given the mixed reviews it gets here. And the fact that I can see (on Jobslinger) the jobs in my area they have listed, and the pay sucks raw eggs on most of them. But, they have one shop that pays fairly well, and I thought I'd sign up so I can get all the details. Even their registration system seems to have problems! I'm not signed up with them (which was verified when I input my e-mail addy), yet when I filled out the online form, the password field was pre-filled (and "hidden" with the asterisks), and no matter what I did, I couldn't get past that screen. I entered every possible password it might be--my JS password, plus the two passwords I alternate using on my sassie-platform log ins. I tried, several times, just deleting the pre-filled-out password and entering a new one from scratch. It wouldn't let me. No matter what I tried, I couldn't register. I gave up and am not sure I'll bother trying again....

I have shopped for Intelli for about 4 years and have only shopped about 10 a year. All shops have been heavily bonused. I have gotten mostly 10s on my reports. There was one highly paid shop, I had a lot of problems with the editor. As you have read in this forum, called me a liar like other shoppers. I would shop for them, but only with a very large bonus. No shops under $30 up to $70.

shopper, thanks for the insight! If there's a possibility of large bonuses, I'll probably try to sign up again. But I'll be very cautious about what shops I take, if any.

i have done many assignments for intellishop but...no more. their editors are beyond nit picky and ask for an array of followup questions that have been already answered in the reporting process and then they downgrade your score (if it even mattered) by using generalized statements like "points deducted for spelling/grammar" or other such nonsense without telling what or why. and, in addition, their pay...stinks.

Gene,
I have occaisionally had trouble getting responses from IntelliShop when issues arose that were escalated to a manager. What worked for me was first to let the scheduler know I'd like the email address of that manager so I could contact him/her directly. When that didn't work, I'd go on LinkedIn and look up IntelliShop, then try and find the manager's profile. If you have their title, you get the name off LinkedIn, and then you have a pretty good idea what the email address is. I contacted the manager that way and eventually did get my issues resolved.

For the record, my issues with this MSC have been few and far between, and I used to shop for them all the time. However, as their fees got lower I now find most shops aren't worth my time without a decent bonus. I have not done any shops for them since they got Service Excellence yet.
Sorry to hear so many negative comments. I do shops for them that are bonused and they pay on time. I did have them send back 1 shop, but I don't do well with narratives. There is just so much to say and that is it ....
I have only done an oil change shop and nothing else yet. I have to agree the fees are not the tops.
