MARKET FORCE - "Changed Fee!" But it went *DOWN* by a dollar!!

For the record, my comment was just that they will probably lower the fee again since it is a pattern. At some point you will decide when the value is no longer worth the hassle and hopefully that time is a long way off. BTW, the fee plus reimbursement is still a lot higher than the only grocery store they have near me.

Yes, it IS their pattern, LisaSTL. I can't speak for others, only myself, but at some point, I will have to decide when it is no longer feasible to do that particular shop. But I haven't reached that point yet. Others have, and they certainly know that for them, it's not a shop they care to take. But we are not all cut from the same mold. Fee + reimbursement, as you say, runs higher than most other grocery shops in my area as well. And as Mert commented above, it really is easy money to help fill up the pantry. Someday, as you have noted, it will probably not be worth it to me, and I'll look for something else. C'est la vie!

I was just hunting for a particular shop and noticed these just went back to the original $6 and again say "Changed Fee!"

Yes, in my area, there are 2 grocery shops left.....one is due tomorrow, and has a "Changed Fee" to $9.00. The other is due ONLY ON this coming Saturday between 11:15 and 12:45, and that shop has a "Changed Fee" of $6.00. But the shops themselves seem to be set at a new lower fee of $5.00 unless some shops, like these 2 in my area, haven't been taken yet. So they really haven't gone back to $6.00....some may have had their fees increased because they are close to their due dates and haven't been taken yet, therefore, the increased fee.
All of them here are the increased $9 for the ones due this week. The rest that are new are all $6 and there are several. None are left here at $5. Personally, I live in the one area of Florida that isn't saturated with shoppers. I am fortunate to get $9-$15 for these shops every time.
That is wonderful nhgirl1970! I hope you get to do lots of them for that fee!! There must be a lot of shoppers in my area of SC, because 3 pages of grocery shops were just about completely gone in less than 12 hours!! It's nice to be able to take advantage of fees like that, isn't it?? Good for you!!

yep, but the "the low-hanging fruit takers" just don't get it, do they?
I swear that my mind goes elsewhere every time you say "low-hanging fruit!" Osmiling smiley

"Low hanging fruit" is far superior to "fruit on the ground".

well, sometimes i say "boots on the ground" (referring to us) and sometimes I say "low hanging fruit" (referring to easy pickings with sub-par fees) and sometimes i get confused and interchange the two. and..."low hanging fruit" has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with any kind of homophobic slur and/or the anatomic features of aging males.
PCB, why ruin the fantasy for the rest of us? Let us have our "low hanging fruit" if we want to. Party pooper! tongue sticking out smiley
I can only say that the other company that pays $3 for reimbursement and $10 for shop fee, with long narratives, picky editors and names that need to be captured, I will take the "low fruit picker grocery shop" instead. smiling smiley
Speaking from the point of view as somebody who has worked for retail chains that hired mystery shopping companies, I was surprised by how little compensation there is. Does anybody know how much companies pay the mystery shopping companies?

Then again, I was only shopped once, and the shopper reported that I used words that were too big. Seriously. That was the one and only time in my life that I have been accused of doing such a thing. Ha!

Aside from some of the fast food shops, Market Force does not pay enough to cover the expense of driving and the time it takes to appear on location and report. The shops are close to me and worth doing because of the reimbursement.
indy101, it's a violation of forum rules to refer to both the MSC and the client. You should remove the client's name, or a mod will have to do it.

Done, thanks. That makes sense. Another post via this thread had mentioned that name, so I followed suit.
