Anyway to modify a Marketforce report?

I should have been more careful but I accidentally selected the wrong answer during a shop report. It was my first time with this particular type of shop. The business will definitely point out it was wrong, its not something minor.

I've emailed marketforce asking if they can change it with the question number and the correct answer.

I was just wondering if there was any other way to amend a report while its in QC?

You have done the right thing by e-mailing the Help Desk. Once you submit a MF report, it is finalized and there is no way you can amend it. Sometimes the Help Desk will help you by changing an answer and sometimes they will not.
When you go to summary at the bottom (most reports ask you to visit summary and check your report) then if you have made any errors, you can correct them before final submission. Did you see the summary button at the bottom? smiling smiley
If you get the right staff at Help Desk, they will change it for you. However, I think they have some new people there and that's when Jay C's 'sometimes they will not' may happen. Good luck!
Thanks, I will have to be more careful next time. The report changed from QC to Approved today but I hope they can still amend it because I'm pretty sure the client is going to dispute what I clicked.

I've done a lot of these shops but this was the first 'night time' shop and I misread a question. I actually messed it up after looking at the summary, and selected mopping when I was thinking of sweeping.

Hopefully it works out, I dont mind even not getting paid this time as long as I can do the normal ones.
This was written in the Shopper Messages last year:

"Please note that we cannot alter or amend or swap out data in a report after it has been submitted and processed. It is up to each Shopper to carefully review the shop guidelines and provide all the data that is requested prior to submitting the report. After that, it is too late to alter your report. "

That said, I do know shoppers who realized they submitted a report with an error, e-mailed explaining, and the editors did work with them. It seems to all boil down to who happens to check your report.
Just shoot a message to the Helpdesk. Just be concise on the particular question you're referring to and what needs to be changed. You should be fine. Just react sooner than later.

I emailed right away last night and have now received a response. It looks like a generic message but it says what you all have been saying. They will notify the client or attempt to change it before its sent to the client and that they keep track of every instance this happens.

Sounds like you're in the clear. For record purposes, I'd file away the email under this particular assignment, in case it comes back.

I wouldn't exactly call it in the clear. You know they keep track of each and every mistake, big or small. If MF could get away with using robots they would.
