Wow, I guess I got the boot from MF today.

I just got banned from accepting more shops for MFI. I found out it is because I cancelled a shop at the last minute. The only reason I cancelled the shop at the last minute is because the client requested a date change. I don't live in the area of that shop and I could not be there on the days the shop was rescheduled for. I do around 60-70 a month for them. I don't know if I'm going to try to contact the help desk or just move on from the company.

Up to you. I dropped them a long time ago...

I have cancelled shops too but they still let me shop. Try calling them and emailing to explain your siutation.
I am reinstated now. The email I received said they wanted to verify why I cancelled that shop.
I booted them a while ago, but it's always best to leave on the best terms you can. I argued that I didn't mis-shop a location. They listed the wrong location. (There was one Street on the email I accepted--I always put this on my acceptance email and don't accept over the phone-- and the confirmation and another on the site when I went to put the info in) Granted the street names were pretty similar, but they wouldn't let me get away with that mistake! They didn't accept my shop, even though I had 2 emails with the RIGHT street name! After I got them to take off the fact that I made the mistake (I still didn't get paid!) I then told them to take my name off of their list.

Never leave with a black mark on your name if you can possibly stop it.

What I don't understand is how can companies expect us to be perfect when they make mistakes like this? That was a doozy! Worst part, they still had the Street that I shopped up to be shopped! Why they couldn't say, we screwed up, change it and pay me--Who knows? It is beyond me.
I have cancelled shops and never had a problem. I guess I will start being more careful.
I just canceled two shops for them for this weekend. I am still waiting on a reimbursement from a February shop from February and all my March shops. I emailed that I cannot do the shops until I am paid for the previous month. Any idea why their payroll is behind this month?

I had a strange thing happen these past two months with them. I had been on DD for a long time, but all of a sudden, with the March 10th payments, my payment had a check number next to it. I didn't think too much of it at the time, figuring maybe they were changing banks or something, and that it would go back to DD. I never thought to check my account. I waited for the check and it never arrived. Then with this month's payment, it was marked as a check number again. I contacted them and asked why they had removed me from DD without my permission. Turns out they are having some error that is causing some, but not all, DD's to be marked as check numbers. And sure enough, the money from both months had been deposited on the same days it would have been normally. Strange error.

This happened to me too, but the money appeared in my bank on Monday instead of on Friday night like it usually does.

It was weird.
They sent emails out around March 10th saying something about that. It was some sort of error on their part.
Yeah me too. They have a problem when you cancel there shops I usually leave enough time for someone else to pick up on the shop as not to leave them in a rut. I have to rearrange my shops and take on some different companies the ones that had been old stand-by's have become snakes on a plane! and it isn't my imagination either! I let two go this month P2P and MF almost running away from them~ and there won't be an about face here !

Hello everyone,
I have been with MF for well over a year and this is my first issue.
I'm wondering if any one is having a problem with getting paid this month(March)with MF. I did a Tax shop for MF in Feb., I have not been paid yet. To top it off, I am still waiting for March shop payments. MF is saying there is a payroll issue. I am still waiting on payment of over 400.00 dollars. If anyone is having similar issues please response. Thank you.

I just got paid for my March shops today. I don't get DD, but a check. Their payments have been on time. I did notice that this month, I didn't get any local shops offered to me. Only out of town ones. Anyone have this experience?
Did you check the "Advanced search" feature? I find that my local shops frequently do not appear on the default "Search for Shops" and I am more likely to find the location 4 miles from my home when I search using the 160 mile radius. Quirky system and that problem has not resolved even with the seeming recent updates to their site.
Almost everyone knows what MFI stands for. This is a violation of the ICA. By the way, I love them and often I have to cancel shops. Just try not to do it too often.
Thanks for the advice Flash!! I will try that. I did miss my FF shops this month:-)

What is a violation of the ICA?

Still waiting to be paid for an early Feb. tax return shop. I'd much rather have the $400 in my account than theirs. MF is just filler for me, but getting booted after 60-70 shops/mo. sounds like you ran into a scheduler with a Napoleon complex.
