I tried to log in to A Closer Look today and it said that it was a non-existent domain. Is anyone else having this issue?

For those registered with A Closer Look, is check still the only payment form? If so, any problems with checks not arriving or arriving much later then they should have?
My records show that my September payment last year was about a week or so later than usual. I can't remember, though, if other forum members had an issue that month too, or if it was just me. I seem to remember a check arriving around that time that was all munched looking, perhaps from a mail sorting machine or something. It might just have been me. Generally, I've had no major issues with this MSC's payment timeliness.

My check for February work seemed a little tardy in arriving. But I am also realizing that my mailman is skipping us about every other day. It is unreasonable that we would get a nice size handful of mail on Tuesday (store flyers are delivered that day and there is always a whole bunch of other mail as well), Thursday and Saturday and unless there is an Amazon tracked package on M, W or F there will be no mail.

This is something that is unacceptable and you should speak in person with your postmaster and inform him of this. Since I have added two extra cameras at the front door and one on the telephone pole where the truck parks, I have not missed a package while I am home. They actually ring the doorbell and wait for more than 20 seconds before running back to the truck. They even bring the package to the door on the first attempt.

Fedex has a note in the computer system for my address after a driver lied about a failed delivery and I brought up the video footage proof when I called them within an hour of the "missed delivery". That driver needed to drive back and deliver my package at the end of the route on the same day and get scolded at the very least.

I hate to say it, but it is an improvement over the former carrier who always had an excuse not to deliver packages so we always had to run to the post office to pick up any package larger than a deck of cards. (House too far off the road [it is not], houses 'back there' have no numbers [we all do in at least 4" numerals legible from the road], attempted and nobody home [except the garage door was open because we were working on the mower all morning] etc.) It got so bad we printed out one 'excuse' stating an attempt was made at 1:35 PM from the USPS website and took it to the USPS office at 10:30 AM of the same day to talk with the postmaster. He retrieved our package from the back, noting that it never left the PO and the attempt to deliver would supposedly happen in another 3 hrs. So the new guy at least gets packages out to us, but like the previous contractor doesn't do so hot with getting mail out.

At my home, I have no problem with the post office delivery. It's great. But FedEx - I do a LOT of online orders and I cringe every time I see that the delivery will be FedEx. I have to plan for at least 2 failed delivery attempts. The first couple of times that I was home from 4-7 waiting on the porch with my laptop for a delivery, only to see "attempted delivery 4:35 p.m., no one home" pop up on my delivery status, I was outraged. Clearly a lie. I've complained so many times and it does not good.

One thing I have trouble understanding, though, is that I have failed deliveries all the time because "attempted delivery, no one home" but the next day when they deliver, they set the package on my porch and leave. So why did I need to be home the first day but not the second day?

You saw the videos of UPS and Fed Ex workers throwing fragile packages over walls because they were too damn lazy to ring the door bell? UPS and Fed Ex once had pride, as a kid I would run up to the Fed Ex truck man, he was cool. We stayed in touch, he had to move to Hawaii after Fed Ex changed employees to Independent Contractors in 1999 from hourly workers. We get what we pay for, UPS still pay's their employees a fair salary, Fed Ex drivers after insurance, gasoline often make less than proposed Government forced wages. One of my computer motherboards got run over by a Fed Ex arse, I had security cameras showing the event he tried to lie his way out of. Video does not lie, if I had not had my video my killer Asus board would be my fault. How many broken packages did you get until you installed your video, it took one missing CPU chip I ordered and one of mail companies claiming "I put it in your Fed Ex Box" to agitate me to install video.

A-closer look has been sending emails on good jobs, their about 100 miles too far or I would work for them. The restaurants are in need of someone to eat, the cost was $80 I don't have to spend because money is tight. Instead I grabbed three Habits making this month a good eats one.

Thought about working for Fed Ex at the airport a dozen or so years ago and the hours were 5A to 8A and then from 5P to 8P. Passed on that real quick.
I just got assigned to a pricing audit for $350 for 3-4 days in the first half of May. It was not posted on the job board so I say keep doing the reimbursement only ones (even the pizza ones if that is all you see) and the better jobs will start to show up.
