National Shopping Service - Misleading e-mails!!!!!

I got an e-mail from a National Shopping Services scheduler with a subject line:

BIG DEADLINE BONUS $100 (client redacted)'s SHOP

When you open and read the e-mail, though, the bonus is actually $15 for delivery or $7 for carryout, plus reimbursement for the food. Added at the end of the e-mail is: "*All shops completed today through Sunday will be entered into a drawing to win $100*"

I was tempted to e-mail back and ask the scheduler if the "false advertising" really works for them. I would think more people would be disgusted and turned off than attracted to the shop opportunity.,

If you've been shopping them long enough you know it's about a drawing. I get why others would get misled by this. Oh, and if you aren't getting $15 to $25 for a carryout shop close the end of the month (and it better be within 20 miles of your house) you aren't getting paid enough.
I like this about as much as the initial email solicitations that start with:

"Re: Some BS job that pays $8"

The unscrupulous scheduler puts the "Re:"
in the front of the Title line to TRICK YOU into opening the email thinking it is an ongoing shop.

I would not take a job with that false misleading title on principle alone! the finger smiley

Wow. Paranoia runs thick through this bunch.

YOU might know it but it is still a VERY misleading and incorrect title.

I'll bite - has anyone here won these $100 "bonus" pizza raffles?

NSS sent me 7-8 emails for a carry out shop. They even apologized for emailing me so many times. I have not replied because they have not even offered a small bonus. Now when I do reply, I will need at least a $10 bonus for the aggravation of them spamming me relentlessly.
When they send me these emails stating they are paying a bonus but don't put in an amount I always email back with:

"Locations and bonuses?"

Do you use a salutation, a complete sentience requesting more information, and a polite closing, or do you just write that which you put in quotes here?

Have they responded?
I continued to ignore them and they called me and offered me a $2 bonus and I turned them down. They may call me back if they can't find a hungry shopper. The location is in a very rich neighbourhood with red brick roads and people with more money than time.

I'm holding to my earlier post.

The locations and bonuses thing is one reason I like the Sassie platform. At least with Sassie, the locations are clearly given in each offer email, and most of the time the bonuses are as well. Some scheduling/reporting platforms are a PITA because they don't lend themselves to schedulers easily including details in their offers. it works against them when shoppers have to login and search in order to find details; most of us don't want to take the time for those extra steps.
