Market Force shops - do you "confirm" the shop?

@ JASFLALMT, you are becoming obsessed. As CaliGirl noted above, "JASFLALMT, your "updates" on this forum must just be full of 'CANADAMOMMY mentioned you' "

This is a public internet forum. Anyone can post and read here. There is no way to limit posts to a certain group of readers and no way to block any reader from posting and commenting. Although I find the constant comments a bit tiresome, CanadaMommy has not bashed or said anything attacking in any way in recent comments. She does have the right, as do you, to post on any thread in the forum.

An option to reduce your annoyance would be to use the "Toggle User Visibility" feature to block CanadaMommy's posts from your view. To block all posts from a particular forum member, click on that forum member's name. From the drop-down menu, select "Toggle User Visibility."

Viola! Problem solved. After toggling, no posts from that forum member will be visible to you.

If you have ever had a stalker, you would understand better how uncomfortable it makes one feel. The fact that others in this forum think it's acceptable is not cool with me. Stalking on the Internet is still stalking, and if she knew where I lived, I would be really worried. It's not stable behavior.
Calling participation on an internet forum of which you are both members "stalking" is such an over-statement that it is laughable. Anyone who chooses to go where she feels "stalked" and unsafe is not logical and is unstable. I am concerned for you.

If you also participate on other forums and the same person shows up at all of them, I would consider it stalking. You are annoyed with CanadaMommy and making such a big deal out of it that it has become fun to her. She doesn't even need to post anything snide or attacking, She just posts the same type comment that would not even be noticed if it were posted by another poster. Just seeing her post in the vicinity of your post gets you upset and attacking. While I was sympathetic initially, I no longer am.

Jacob has provided the perfect solution: TOGGLE THE FORUM MEMBER WHO ANNOYS YOU. Yet - you choose not to do that. Your behavior is not logical or stable.
I never said I have not used the toggle feature or am unwilling to use the toggle feature. I never said I feel unsafe, what I said was that it makes me uncomfortable. I was merely making a point that stalking is stalking, and the fact that you think it's perfectly fine is not okay with me. And yes, though her most recent comments have been rather innocuous, you know very well that in the past she has attacked me for no reason with name calling in her posts, and she still tends to follow me around in this forum and make unnecessary comments. If I were a member of other forums and she knew how to find me, I have no doubt that she would do so. It's not very nice of you to say I am unstable when you know nothing about me at all. I am not sure why you feel the need to attack me when I have done nothing to you. It's rather hypocritical for you to do so. I do not believe for a moment that you are concerned for me. I think that's laughable.
I'm done. Sometimes you just have to let folks feel how they feel. This is just crazy talk.
I confirm as a courtesy to the MSC. However, often I get a "reminder" email a few days before the shop asking me to "confirm" when I have already done so. I have been shopping for MFI for more than two years and have not had any indication of a ratings system. That said, I suppose if an IC fails to meet deadlines or has enough "invalids" there would be consequences.

Shopping SoCal and Maui.

Also, do you guys and gals "confirm" shops with MF? I'm just curious what other shoppers do.

I confirm them when I download the paperwork. That way, I can tell at a glance whether I have already downloaded the paperwork. It's really just a second check for my own schedule keeping.

Actually those "reminder emails" have saved my a%$ a few times....I always look up at calendar, which is right next to my computer and a few times I have said, "I have a shop?" on that day.

Sadly, I saw a reminder email, but only noticed the first shop listed in the email, so I completely flaked on a shop on Friday. I'm still shopping for them and they're still calling me to help out, so obviously no bridges burned, but it still bums me out that I messed it up.
