I received a check from Impact Marketing that the bank says is fraudulent. T
he credit union it is drawn on says it is not their cashier's check. So just beware!

You got scammed. If you look around this site you will find other people who got similarly scammed. Soem come here as soon as they get the check. Some deposit the check and only come here after they wire $1800 to the scammers and then find out the check has bounced. Some come here to find out what to do when they are threatened with legal action of passing a bad check. Some come here to blame the innocent mystery shopping companies - which have absolutely nothing to do with the scam and have warnings on their website.

Go directly to the police and the postal inspectors. File a report even when they tell you that there is no hope of getting your money back. It might help when your bank accuses you of fraud.

I am sorry that you got scammed.
