***UPDATE/RESOLVED*** AthPower over paid me

I received a payment from Bill.com for Ath for $140. Ath only owes me $15 for my last shop in February (I had to abruptly stop shopping due to an accident) so that was my last open shop. I'm sharing this so that you can double check your records - in case you were over or underpaid.

I've contacted Ellen Barkhouse with AthPower to let her know of the error, because I would hate to think that another shopper is expecting this money and didn't receive it. Ellen is looking into it and I'll share what she finds once I hear back.

I used to see a life coach pretty regularly.... back when they were called bartenders.

I was told that there is another shopper with the same name in a neighboring state to whom the money should have been paid. They offered to let me "work off" the payment with more shops or to mail them a check. Since I cannot shop right now, I will be sending the money back tomorrow.

To my namesake that got shorted this month, I'm sorry. I hope you get your payment soon!!

Not with aTH but with another company a bunch of years ago I was the 'other shopper' and when I didn't get payment and politely inquired about it the company swore up and down that I got paid and had cashed the check. It was a company that paid by check and I asked for a copy of the cancelled check. While awaiting their bank statement arrival they realized they had paid the right name but wrong SSN. 'Stuff' happens, no matter how careful you try to be. I was afraid someone had stolen the check out of my mailbox to cash it. It certainly is one of the reasons I am happier with payments by direct deposit and/or Paypal.
