IntelliShop didn't really want my reply....

How I was told to reply:
Please reply to: proofreader@intelli-shop.com. Do not reply to the FROM address INSITE@insite.intelli-shop.com.

The reply I got to my reply sent to proofreader@intelli-shop.com:
Thank you for your email; however, this is an unmonitored email account. Please contact your Client Services Manager for assistance.

I hesitate to contact my Client Services Manager, because if he/she replies, that will make it three times that they will have contacted me after a report, surely forcing enough point deductions to jeopardize the report's acceptance, once to ask for clarification regarding whether the associate offered a greeting (this after I reported that as I approached, the associate asked if he could help me), once to let me know that they don't monitor the address they asked me to use, and likely then once to thank me for, or at least acknowledge, my unnecessary clarification.

I had that happen. If you look, there is usually a personal email that it came from (despite the proofreader email) as example: maryj@intellishop. I looked for that one, cut and pasted it and emailed her. I received a quick response back. If all else fails, I would call intellishop. smiling smiley
In this case, the From: address was INSITE@...
The "personal" address was: proofreader@...
The address I was directed to use was: proofreader@...
I trust that I got through after using the Help/Contact feature on the website.
I had the same thing happen last week so I forwarded the email along with my response to the scheduler. The contact was actually telling me to upload emails to a report. There were two problems with the request. The first being there was no place to upload anything more than what I had already uploaded. The second was the guidelines stated to forward the emails and the report even included a place to check stating the emails had been forwarded. Despite all that my grade came back as an 8 because "they had to contact me." Normally grades don't bother me. This time I got pissed and they included a good email for me to respond. Imagine my shock when the response was they were adjusting my grade back to a 10cool smiley

I have a gmx email account and I also am registered with 25 mystery shops. I have Google vlice and use it to call the scheduler as well as 'priority' messaging from GMX. If you are not organized you will have problems.

I made the mistake to ass u me my report would be understood. You need more than one sentence which is why received a 7 instead of a 10 that I could have gotten.

This has happened to me before, as well. It's quite frustrating. I think the proofreader is supposed to input their address, but they don't always do that. I have had emails where there was a specific email address of a proofreader, and it worked.
Same issue happened with me. I was advised by the corporate office, Abby, that the editors NEVER receive email. I was told to direct my inquiries to the particular scheduler.
ValG In some cases depending on the MSC you can not reply to an editor. There are other companies that I do reply to the editor. I have answered questions and have had to be contacted one or more times and have still received a 10. I guess it depends on the company you are working for. I like speaking to the editor so that I can correct my errors in the future, or to clarify something.
The same thing happened to me recently. I had forgotten to attach a photo, and I was told to reply to the email, which I couldn't. Finally I just reopened the report, made the fix, and forgot about it.
If you do a search and scroll down on your emails from intellishop, there will be letters and contact information from them at the bottom. smiling smiley
